- Make sure to turn down your volume, I-Cybies are very loud! I recently found an I-Cybie with some odd labeling on him online and he appears to be a prototype! He will only run with the chip labeled Game 7C installed and seems to have more limited features than a regular I-Cybie. The battery compartment design on him is very strange and I can see why it was changed.

Wow! That prototype I-Cybie looks amazing! The behavioral actions and battery cover differences are interesting but unique. What else does the prototype I-Cybie do differently that the regular I-Cybies don't have? I would like to know more about it.
I just got a working one with everything for 19.99 at a thrift store I'm gonna try to resell it pretty interesting stuff for the technology back then

is the I-cybie worth it if you can’t afford an aibo ?
Yes, even though the aibo is More sophisticated the icybie is your trick dog even though there now dated compared to the latest aibo, icybies never fail to impress me. Although they have some cons that i have experienced
-selective hearing. Sometimes it may or may not register whats said or when you clap, the eyes turn off and it barks back to you varying on how many claps it heard so it might miss one or not understand it
-the battery run time could be questionable, i dont charge my battery for 3hrs max because it kinda scares me when the battery gets very warm when charging the dog doesn’t have a good volt detector for when it needs to be charged, it does show signs like a yawn and a awkward position for battery removal
-the remote sensor is only in the chest
So you cant command from behind
You may have to get up and get it or follow it
-used icybies can possibly have a stripped gear or a fault in the system
Im not a expert with robots or some enthusiast of aibos, i just for off of forums and what my icybie does
Do you have a programmer or super I-cybie? would be neat to dump the cartridge. I just got done reverse engineering a cartridge programmer and am currently trying to find whatever software and info I can still get. I used to browse the icybie forums as a kid but now it seems the only info left is bits and pieces that still remain from old blogs and youtubers showing their modded robots.

Contact me... I may have some insight for you regarding Furby and I-Cybie, especially prototypes. It's amazing that you have these, I haven't seen them in years.
I’ve done some digging online to find out what I can about these prototypes and their history, but I’m always interested in learning more if you have any additional info that might be helpful!

The I-cybies are no Prototypes that are real I-cybies from Silverlit and Tiger Electronics 2001 or 2005.
