Love the plan for the purple corduroy! For the purple knit for the Mimi cardigan pattern: if you really want to track it down to see if it'sthe same, Raven Maureen mentioned that if you call the number for simplicity, the ladies there can look up the fabric used for the pattern samples. 😊
I find I don't sew as much for late fall winter because a coat covers everything ... So I really look for style in my coat choices now and accessories, like a hat, broach, etc
I've been eyeing those vogue barrel leg pants too! 😍I've recently made my first barrel leg pants (Iggy by Seamwork, love those!) and I think the key to have them look right is to make sure that the hips are fitted so that the barrel really looks like a barrel. When I first made them up the hips were just as loose as the leg section and that made the pants look like eclectic grandpa chic type of pants (which I love too but wasn't the look I wanted for those pants), but then taking them in 1''-2'' at the hips fixed it. Also, I think you're right about the pairing of the vogue pants and blazer: I think the look book shows them worn together like that? Anyway, looking forward to your makes! ❤
Making sure the barrel leg pants are fitted at the hips is such a good tidbit! Looking back at the images I've pinned, I think you are absolutely right about that. LOL @ eclectic grandpa chic 😆😊
