Cool I want to check Maine out now. I grew up on the border of Maine in New Brunswick. My opinion was I loved it....I loved to fish....go in the wilderness and see what wildlife I could see. Then when I moved to Ohio it was ok for a while cause of the movie theaters, stores etc...then now well I find it extremely BORING!🤔😏🙄🥶
The 405 has horrible traffic but I wouldn’t trade it for the world. The roads actually take you to fun, interesting places and not some boring, old farmhouse in the middle of nowhere.
As a introverted person who already was raised too much stuck, in a small town, today I would look for fun places, big cities, a lot of things to do and see people. I believe everyone sometime need to find activities to enjoy your place, your city even more. Even for a family, I can imagine how difficult for a teenager be raised in a small town, with a limited possibility of friendship, activities, watching new people. I'm not saying small town is just boring. They have their own magic, in a side is good. But I think we need a sorta balance.
I THINK I'm an ambivert (I don't really know or care to be honest lol) but your story is the same as mine. Respect your opinion, but I feel as if you disrespected some of these states, and the people that live there. I’m a teen, and partying is fun, but is crime, poverty, and rape fun? Or is staying cooped up in your room the whole day boring? You need to respect older people because sure, they may not be as attractive, or as funny, but they still have great stories and can crack a unique joke. J/K The problem with your story is that anybody can be anything he wants to be, on the internet. Maybe your story is true, maybe my guess is true. Either way, doesn't change the fact that being married and creating a legacy, people to leave all the supposed wealth you've created for yourself to, is WAY more rewarding than not. I understand being jaded and also the MGTOW mentality. But, from someone who has been married, happily, for 20 years. All you have to do, is make sure you pick the right woman. It's good to have someone to share life's successes with and to help soften the blow of life's failures. I wasn't planning on getting into a back and forth, let's just say, it can be done both ways, college is a complete waste, marriage and a family is for some people and not for others. Bonus round: I usually tell people not to get married and have kids. I do realize that I won the proverbial wife lottery and very few men, especially with modern women, will do the same. Maybe it has something to do with my wife being a traditional Asian woman who was raised to respect vows and family.

I grew up in rural Maine and it's not just that there's nothing to do but everyone is just so isolated and it's so boring because no one wants to ever do anything or try anything new. It's frustrating as hell.

Happiness comes from inside of you and you can be lonely in New York City or you can be happy in a no name town. Problem is that you can't get away from yourself no matter where you go.
@ horseman: Exactly! I lived in New York City in the early '70s and met a rather large number of people who were lonely and a few of those even said New York was boring!
@@davidblaskie8987 I'm sure New York is in interesting place, but in my opinion, happiness is a state of mind and not always dependent on the circumstances one finds themselves in. They had the peace of God abiding in them that came through their faith in Jesus Christ.

@@dimase86 If complicated is boring to you, it's likely a good thing you still work at McDonalds.
@@dimase86 Whatever you have to tell yourself to get by. Make the fries extra crispy next time. People really like that. J/K
The problem with your story is that anybody can be anything he wants to be, on the internet.
I get that it is much more difficult than stated, and requires a good amount of blind luck. But I can't imagine if my genes would die with me. I would just be another failed organism. May as well have been a queer, and no one wishes that on someone.
@@dimase86 why on earth would I be jealous? Not everyone wants no legacy. I actually kind of feel sorry for people who go through life alone. Funny thing is. You likely went to college for a degree did all of this stuff and the only thing you have to show for it is, stuff.
I on the other hand did not go to college, my wife has never worked, we have 2 kids who were raised properly. I make well into 6 figures. Now that the kids are older, the wife is finishing her degree, and I'll be retired by 50. But, you do you.
@@dimase86 I am the furthest thing from miserable. It's funny how similar our stories are. Yet you for some reason think that you could not have done it with a family, and I know that it can be done. Like I said, it's nice to not be alone in the world, with nothing but superficial relationships.
@@dimase86 That is not true. I have several multi-millionaires in my family and they are married with children. You can be very wealthy and love the job you have with a spouse and kids.

Minnesota has a lot of amazing things that a lot of other states don’t! We have some of the best schools in the country and whats wrong with snow! At least we actually have nice people. Minneapolis has some amazing restaurants and we have amazing sights to see. THIS PERSON HATES
NATURE like what’s wrong with hiking and kids???? So your saying teens are batty and annoying... why is being married bad? Just because we want to have good relationships and raising families that doesn’t make us boring. In the summer it’s so much fun to go jet skiing and other things on the lake.. but you couldn’t do that in New York with the HUGE population!
Also nobody is going to buy your ugly merch...
I totally agree but i go jet skiing in lake george, New York every summer
Muslims taking over slowly in liberal MN thanks to your evil politicians.
Gie Campbel while at least we aren’t boring.... but I would not recommend bringing politics in to things! Everyone has a different opinion and politics change.
Theawesomechannel yes I totally get that! There are some amazing places in New York
I wouldn't mind eating lobsters all day long.
Lobster is poor people food

'Poor people food' tastes great 😜
I wanna try some lobster tail
Get outta here old man
Rather live around old people, compared to a family with undisciplined children.
Old people are not boring. Your empty soul is. Without old people you would not be here.
Agreed. I work with elders..they are amazing, full of knowledge and are actually funny and fun! Just because a person is old doesn't mean their soul is old. Just wait til the narrator gets old. .he will eat his words!
I like old people. They are people, same as all of us, but with wisdom and experience and a story to tell.
@@fembotprincess1 This asshole narrator only hopes he can live to be their age
@Bill Cosby Yes, or join their quilting bee.
Why push us young ones away. Then i visited my parents and they looked old i sId what is wrong thry said were getting old.
I live in utah and my dad swears every day
Yotuber_1 Fam thanks because I was really about to go on thinking people in Utah have a big thing against cursing lol.
Same, in Sandy Utah the kids at my school would swear and fight everyday.
I agree. I went to high school in West Valley and my classmates swore a lot, which is the main reason I swear when I'm angry.
I showed my dad this and he disliked. He loves Lobsters.
Pweaze Sushi lemme guess maine? Bc me too

Pweaze Sushi I do too!
I don't understand what makes you think there is anything significant about this video...

So is death! LOL
Ya..
peace isn’t that entertaining
Minnesota has the Mall of America though.......
Edit: Not necessarily to shop, but to chill. Anyone who's actually been there will know what I'm fucking talking about. There's more than just boring stores.
Shopping sucks.
Enclosed shopping malls ruined America. All retail shopping belongs downtown, period!
@@robertpreskop4425 Yes, because it is so much fun walking outdoors from store-to-store in cold, WINDY, winter weather. (*sarcasm*)
@Donna Jones we know

Hey I’m in Idaho! After living in California 15 years, I love and appreciate the great outdoors here. Idaho is beautiful! I think your info is lacking... for instance, Idaho has more hotsprings than any other state. Lots of boating and rafting here.
Heather Ellsworth i live in idaho and you the reason that it’s boring
Doesn’t Wyoming have the most hotsprings?
Heather Ellsworth Idaho better than California? Something doesn’t add up
markw999 Actually I checked, Nevada has the most
I love Wyoming Nebraska iowa
Feeding the whole country also lot of respect for farmers God bless farmers.

What about them Idaho potato’s bro
No joke there’s a place named boring in Oregon.
Funny thing is that the place is really boring.
I know, I had a girlfriend from there in the 80’s. There is also a Crazy Woman, WY. Hell, MI. And my favorite, Knob Noster, MO.
Why is this so interesting and popular to share these days? Yeah, we have that. Yes, we also have a place called Drain. And we have towns called Idiotville, Bath, Sink and Toilet too. At least the latter are somewhat amusing, and actually fairly unique, while featuring Boring is well... boring. lol
Depends on the person. haha. @@bjinmarolo5597
Boring is probably a nice German surname that the town was named after--Mr. Boring!
What a load of crap. How old are you, Nick Johnson, 14?
Poor journalism. So many "journalists" out there fighting to make a dime. Unfortunately they all come up with these lame "Top 10..." videos and articles. A half day of "research" and a day of stealing and editing video clips; throw in a monologue and BAM, some bullshit for us all to gravitate to. We are all guilty of click bait, which in turn supports some poor soul that probably (I'll stop there, so I don't become the next cyber bully)

Living in West Virginia I can say that my idea of a good time is being able to sit on my porch and watch the deer come into my yard.
My question is if Idaho is so boring, Why the Hell are so many Californians, and others, moving here?!! We're getting overrun by them! Did they not the get the memo? I think most of us here would prefer if they thought it was too boring and would go to some other state. Plus why do so many celebrities come here and own property in Sun Valley? Idaho is too boring, be gone !
Becky Roundy Low house of cost. Texas is getting the Californian
@@bextar6365 Yup ain't that the truth. So my Uncle owns and runs a pizza restaurant, and he's always getting tons of people in there that have moved here, mostly from California, but there have been some from other states too, like New York, Illinois, Florida, ect. Anway back to the California thing, they tell my Uncle they move here because they are sick of dealing with the crap in California, the laws, ect. and they wan't a freer and better life, Then as time goes by he over hears them talkin about how they can't believe the things we get away with up here, and they try to change it back into the same thing they were trying to get away from in the first place. Makes so much sense yeah?
Becky Roundy shut up u old dumb bitch go make me a sandwich
Know how you feel I live in Wyoming hate that they move here and try to change things 😔
Becky Roundy What is there to do for excitement in Idaho? Honestly. In a place like New York, you have sports, theater, music, art, museums and a lot of restaurants to which you can try any type of food. Don’t be insulted that Idaho is called boring. Perhaps celebrities are moving there for that very reason, a little quiet time. But they don’t stay in Idaho.
actually there are more people who would like to live the quality of life we live in rural Nebraska than you might think. Low crime,no traffic jams, fresh air lots of wild life, hunting fishing, I would like to know why it is that the city slickers always pack their tents and campers to come here to get away from the city, yeah or go to Yellowstone, guess it isn't all that boring after all
It's nice for a week or two, but then we get a need to LIVE a life of fun. Some people like the big outdoors and some people like people. I like people. I love being around lots of them. I get bored when I'm not. But nature is nice for a few days. But I have a coworker from Nebraska who moved heer to Cali to get away from Nebraska. He said the weather sucked and it was boring.
This guy does not sound like he would be fun at a party. He belongs with the "old people" in Maine...
Good list if your only notion of fun is drinking alcohol at a late night party venue.
So he hates kids because you can’t party 🤔Married people for no reason. 🤔 And you can make a outbreak online too
A place is always what you make it.

It's very unfair to say old and married people are boring. Lots of unmarried people aren't married because they are boring. Obviously there are exceptions to both but hearing the same reason for every state on the list bugged me. Night venues/major cities and a activities should've been a much bigger focal point of the video.
