2:04 she's wrong. The exhaust isn't the third necessary component of a jet engine... it's the turbine section.

Back in the 70s I saw what they called a rocket car,but it was a peroxide rocket.Basically a sidewinder with wheels.It made no noise until it launched,then there was a loud whoosh for about 5 seconds.It ran 5 seconds even,but the blast knocked the lights out of alignment so they didn't get the speed.It was estimated at 300 mph.This was before top fuel cars had broken the 5 second barrier.

So, even thought it's in the name, is a ramjrt engine still a jet engine? It's relying on a heavy amount of airflow to blast through and mix with the hydrogen, but doesn't have it's own oxygen chamber, right? It that just a jet engine who's sole purpose is to reach hyper speeds?
