K-1 Gondola [Summer] - Killington

K-1 is a detachable 8-person gondola located at Killington Ski Resort in Killington, Vermont. The gondola brings skiers and riders from the K-1 Base Area to the top of Killington Peak, the main peak at Killington. This lift is often considered the "main" lift at Killington, and as such can often have long lines in the winter. The gondola also runs for scenic rides to the summit during the summer and fall.
Killington is a ski resort located in Killington, Vermont. It is the largest ski area in Eastern North America, and is the tallest ski area in New England, being the only ski area in the region with more than 3,000 feet of vertical. It is known for its wide variety of terrain spread over 5 distinct areas (from west to east) Ramshead, Snowdon, Killington, Skye, Snowshed, and Bear. It is nicknamed "The Beast of the East" for its large size. It also almost always has the longest season of any mountain in the East, usually being open from October to Late May/Early June.
In the summer, Killington is home to a wide variety of activities, including but not limited to a mountain coaster, ropes course, zipline, mountain biking, golf, and scenic gondola rides
