Love clips like this i'm so happy to know there is still left a conscious to look after these people (who gave their all) like that beautiful irish lady who helps them out with the claims they earned long a go. I wish every one well in this video💚 Never forgotten.
Exactly! They went on and made a life for themselves, away from the trouble and strife we Irish made for ourselves and for what? I’ve often stated to fellow Irish people from all persuasions over the years. The Irish don’t become Irish until they leave Ireland and all the garbage is left behind. We. Actually do it very well indeed. It’s a pity that these Palestinians and Radical Islamists do do it. Rather they shove it in everyone’s face. England, Scotland and Wales are buggered and the Republic of Ireland is in an absolute mess, thanks to their own Government.
Fantastic to see people helping them. The fact is that there is nothing for them in Ireland back in the early 2000s and a lot less now in December 2024 with the Republic overrun by so called asylum seekers. Many of the people in this video have all past on now, like the melting snow as the song goes. They would be appalled to see how the Republic Government is treating its own people. The Irish are treated like garbage in their own Country now. Those from the North would be much better off, but again they would be strangers in their own towns. It really doesn’t matter if they went to Leeds, Manchester, Jarrow, London or even onward to Australia, NZ, Canada or the USA. Ireland is but a strange and even foreign country to them. The people and family who remained there are strangers to 5hem. Five minutes in the pub or wherever, a bit of story telling from both sides, and life quickly returns to normal. The prime difference is that everyone is 60 to 70 years or more older. How do I know this you ask? Easy, I left in 1959 as a teenager. Yes, I’ve visited my home town of Ballymena a few times and I do have immediate family there, including some younger ones who, although born and growing up overseas, actually returned to live there.Yes, if you have enough money in the bank you can live anywhere of course. Why would you live in freezing cold winters away from the things you now enjoy, and be bored out of your mind a few weeks after the niceties have subsided. The bottom line is that you either return to wherever while still young and can make a life for yourself, or stay and enjoy your remaining days in your new home. Every country in the modern world owes its immigrants a debt of gratitude for all the hard work and often hard times they endured over the years. The new immigrants get everything handed to them on a silver platter and do nothing but complain and protest about everything, they don’t like. Anyhow, life goes on a little longer, but shall all come to pass, like the melting snow. All the best in 2025 to everyone.
