Thank you for working on a darker user experience, that is so needed! The darker the better. Can I ask what are the average hours per day that software engineers are expected to work in Aus? Thank you in advance
dark mode 100% - typical 9-5 work hours for avg software engineers, but depends on your level of experience and niched area. Some parts of the job require on-call hours but typically core development is standard working times. Hope that helps!
@@NadidLinchestein thanks dude! what kind of dev roles you looking at? can share what i’ve seen (although most of australia companies use hacker rank rather than leetcode lol)
@@NadidLinchestein nice! just a brief summary, all companies usually have an initial call with you to ask “why are you applying to X company?” and what your previous experience has been. this is usually just to gauge whether you might fit the role. for soft dev roles at startups, usually it’s a custom pair programming test. can use any language, ive used javascript so usually it’s coding questions testing whether you know about javascript concepts (i.e type casting, closure, revision etc.) at corporations, usually they test you with hackerrank either with a self test or in a copairing session with a dev from their team. questions vary but it’s similar testing your knowledge of the language. i haven’t seen leetcode in australia. if you’re applying to senior roles, you need to do a system design interview as well. i googled on youtube and it shows ya how to do them. behavioral usually asks when have you working through a challenging problem, when have you disagreed with a team member, etc. glassdoor usually is your friend here to see what other candidates were asked for that company. hope that helps!
To be honest i have seen a lot , I mean a lot of Day in the Life Of Software Engineer, since, I am a software engineer myself .but this one is really unique in terms of video graphy..truely a master piece.. loved it.thanks for making something like this

ok I'm feeling so proud of myself rightnow that I'm a beginner in website design / development just 1.5 months of experience. I have made fully funtionalal portfolio website kinda like urs in terms of layout singlepage nonscrollabe like an application with darktheme which switches to light and dark according to system theme setting and also changable by a similar sliding button. Things I know: GSAP JS (enough to do everything i want, I learn the things that are necessary to make something ) HTML CSS WORDPESS ELEMENTOR etc
what are you looking to learn? if high level, then start with ethereum’s website if you’re a dev, openzepplin to grab a smart contract template and foundry forge for testing

Hey I'm 15 years old . Like can I know how much a professional senior software engineer can earn in australia ?
at the moment probs around $140k-180k - best to check glassdoor because salaries differ depending on company / industry

@@NeshEdits0 that amount sounds more like american tech companies - and a portion of those amounts are in stock options
