Today, no, too many people left, not enough logistics coordination and to wait in line 2 &1/2 hours in the rain with advanced 3 day tickets- no ma'am. Didn't even make it back day 3- although getting in day 2 was a breeze. Your haul and creativity is amazing. Thank you for sharing your talents with the world. Your gifts will make room for you!!

Loved watching your haul and thank you for sharing your experience at Stationery Fest. I don't think my anxiety could handle the large group of people. I am living the Fest through the TH-cam videos. All this to say, it would be extremely expensive to attend. I can see what others purchased and shop online from my home. As my Honey says, "sometimes it's just not worth it."
Thanks for sharing! I love seeing all the stickers. And I totally agree about the "body-on-body" contact. This year was my first DC Pen Show, and there was a lot of bumping going on. Great to see people getting out, but I need my 3-ft radius to breathe!

@@ConfidentCanvas I left work early and got there about 3:00pm on Friday and it was filling up. I was trying to look through the Galen journal covers and kept getting bumped. Everyone was friendly though, and I stayed in my budget. :)
Are you in DMV area? I wanted to go so bad, was gonna take train / or drive up there, but couldn’t get someone to go with me, and NY always intimidates me, especially drivin. Did they not sell tickets, or at least require people to pre-register with a deposit that would be returned if you came, because from all of these videos, it seems like they had no idea how many people were going to come. Everyone stood in lines for hours, vendor videos say they ran out of stock because I guess the event planners just guesstimated how many people would be there? A similar ‘disaster’ happened at Rhinebeck Yarn Festival in upstate NY…pouring down rain, a venue that did not work for people (small, old, no way for people with disabilities to navigate, vendors having to haul their products half a mile) and you had to walk around through a swamp outside. (It was a new person who organized that.) I believe this is the first year they did this? Hopefully they have learned some good lessons because it seemed like such a fabulous thing to go to, but the ‘traffic management’ and total number of people must have not been a high priority or something. I’m not good in crowds, and somebody just putting their body all over you…no. I’m glad you have a good sense of humor about it!

I will go back only if the stationery store I went with organizes another trip. Otherwise, I’ll watch online, lol. 😂

I hope they did, and that they are able to have it again next year…either a larger facility or a smaller number of tickets (I’d go for larger facility, and maybe stagger ticket times or something. Also, have plans for inclement weather…although that’s a tricky one. I’d love for them to have something like this in my city (or any stationery fest type of thing! I’m in a stationery desert 🏜️.) It did sound like most people did enjoy themselves and were excited about the things they bought (and the enjoyment like you said finding your pen, which is gorgeous! Why would they put a cap over that stunning nib?) especially being able to give something a try before you buy! For a fountain pen, that makes huge difference (I too would love to like writing with the EF nib due to the line it produces, but they’re so scratchy and give so much feedback, I go with the F. I’m not a huge fountain pen person…and I don’t need to be cause I already have too much stationery stuff!) Enjoyed your video and your funny comments and all the stamps you got look awesome!!!
