Sir as you said it may be given with food to reduce irritation but according to KdT 8th edition page no. 786 it is written that it should be given half hr before or 2 hr after food...is this right sir ?

Yes you are right but as per many other book its applicable to those where GI irritation is higher. And that in general it is taken 2 hr after dairy food. Because dairy food are common in our diet so in that sense it was stated after 2 hrs

Yes. But as it cause cause GIT irritation, so to reduce this irritation (caused on empty stomatch) we MAY take it with food (May word) and this reference is- Padmaja Udaykumar, 1st ed- page- 552
