    For the liquid lip, try adding just a dot or two on your lips and blending it out to make it more wearable!!

    Majority of my liquid lip, stain and foundation products is Korean. So I never really stopped wearing liquid lips /stains or dewy foundations as they have been popular and regularly updated for the last 15 years. you have many different formulas to choose from 😊 Its funny how these things came and went in Western beauty. It shows how manufactured trends are to constantly make you buy stuff and then trash it and start all over again...
    I do keep track every time a Western brand like Huda, Rare Beauty or Dior, Make up by Mario bring out dupes /repackage existing Kbeauty products and sell it for double or triple the price 😅 every time something "new" comes out here I'm having strong deja vu 🙄

Also, it's great when you have hair whisppies that need to be stuck down .... great use for balms or oily products. Ur feet deserve pampering too!

    I'm pale/light and like a cool-toned look, but I don't understand why anyone enjoys using the Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk as a highlighter, it gives that blueish-white cast you get from bad mineral sunscreens. I use it to make white or yellow eyeshadow pop more. Overall I think it's most useful for editorial looks like a base layer to create colorful wings or lashes with eyeshadows in my collection. I've also used it as a blush/lip mixer.

    i’m in the minority but i haaaated miracle creek 😭 it’s a very very weird book to read if you have any disabilities similiar to the kids in the book. good luck with your panning this year!! i also still have liquid lipsticks - most of my collection was inherited from my sister who was subscribed to a few beauty bags for several years, but even though it’s “dated” makeup, i still love it & get use from it!

    Regarding Miracle Creek, as an autistic myself, it just puts a sour taste in my mouth all together. Portrayals of autistic children as burdens and the whole parent's viewpoint thing is overdone. The whole idea of trying to "cure" someone's neurodiversity or the need for different kids to be "normal" is so triggering to me. It's basically the same as convertion therapy for gay people. Heck, it's even the same guy responsible for behaviour therapy to change both gay and autistic people. But that's just me rambling about a book I'm probably never going to read because when I hear that it's even a paragraph in there that kinda just casually assumes that vaccines causes autism, I'm just trying to keep myself from vomiting over the fact that we still need to deal with authors ("autism moms") with harmful views of autistic children. The consequences is that it leaves us traumatised, and struggling even more than we ever should. Really just wanted to leave my own opinion on that book here, especially when you say you like it and are not very informed about autism. Just to let you know it probably has some harmful views on that aspect in particular.
    Other than that, I truly wish you good luck with panning the projects and it's always interesting to hear about the books you're reading 😊

    • @laralikesmascara
      @laralikesmascara 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Thank you for sharing this; I had only seen positive reviews/comments about the book but after reading your comment I went on Goodreads and looked at 1 star reviews and many many individuals said similar things as yourself (after having read the book).
      I read the book as a condemnation of these types of practices; my takeaway was not that the author was condoning 'cures' like HBOT but was instead criticizing the idea that autism and disabilities at large could or SHOULD be cured. I must have missed the paragraph about vaccines and autism, because that should have been a red flag for me. Upon reading these other reviews, I realize that I definitely was not attuned enough to those nuances.
      Thank you again for sharing - it looks like the author's other book is similarly harmful and I won't be reading it.

      @@laralikesmascara thank you for looking into it and taking my comment into consideration, Lara. I truly appreciate it! I was under the same impression at first as I was thinking about reading it. I had hope that it would have a more updated and less harmful view on it all. But as I looked more into it just to check if it would trigger me or not, I became aware of these things myself and decided not to read it.
