I didn't think Love played badly at all against the Bears... he only threw 17 times, the pick was a good decision/poor throw, one of his incompletions was a throw away, and the other two were drops. Against the Bears, play calling on 3rd downs was the problem I saw. Too many attempts to run outside that consistently got bottled up. As for the defense against the Bears, it looked like the gameplan was them expecting Caleb to hold the ball and they couldn't adjust to him getting it out early/designed runs. It was painful to watch knowing they bottled Kyler up so well earlier this year.
If you look at the all 22 Jordan Love played his best game this season, I understand that pick was an overthrow but your telling me the packers win with love going 13/17 this team if they can get consistent they are dangerous
Bro 13-17 260 yards and scored twice, had 1 bad throw that was a pick, the offense averaged 8.5 yards per play; the superbowl is wide ass open for any playoff team

Our edge rush and corners with Jaire constantly injured prevent us from being serious contenders imo. Having said that, Paul is right that Jordan has been injured all season until now, and even playing nowhere near our ceiling we are 7 and 3.
A new OC is a very underrated change. On Sunday it definitely showed up because the Packers defense looked like it prepared for a completely different scheme. Also, the final score shouldn’t have been that close. LaFleur should’ve taken the field goal instead of trying for the touchdown on fourth and goal from the six.
Idk bro going for it in that situation made sense, the defense couldn’t get a fast stop and possessions were at a premium, down 5 at that point with a chance to go up 3 instead of down 2 made more sense

Always love listening to the power rankings and would say y’all did great this week, the only thing I would change is kick🥾the Vikings out and replace them with the broncos!!!! Keep the content coming!!!!
I have two questions, one for ziggy and one for Jack. Ziggy: based on the new scheme from Hafley and the amount of early round picks on defense, is the problem for the packers the new scheme or are we just whiffing on our defensive picks? For Jack: less of a question, but I was listening to the podcast on Monday while dropping my son off at the sitter and he hears Jack say “go pack go” and he repeats it multiple times. I cracked the biggest smile, so thank you for that. And as always GO PACK GO.
The problem is Jaire being out makes people shift around too much. Forcing Bullard to play slot and stokes/nixon outside is killing us. I truly think this draft and offseason will be full of us getting people designed for a 4-3.
Good power rankings. This was my first week joining you and my opinions on my list are: 1-3 solidified, 4-6 can mix, and 7-13 I think is accurate but any can be argued for their positions. 1) Lions 2) Bills 3) Chiefs 4) Eagles 5) Steelers 6) Ravens 7) Vikings 8) Packers 9) Chargers 10) Cardinals 11) Broncos 12) Commanders 13) Texans
Thank you for the Power Rankings! What about the Houston Texans? They are currently 7-4 and their 4 losses are against the Lions, Packers, Vikings (All top 10 teams), and the NY Jets on a road game on a Thursday night. The Texans also came away with a high quality win against the Bills. I wanna compare the Ravens to the Packers. Yes, the Ravens have the best run offense and run defense, but the worst pass defense. Both teams have had quite a few baffling close games. The Ravens, however, have 4 losses (Chiefs, Raiders, Browns and Steelers). Two of their losses are against bottom 10 teams. All of the Packers losses have been against top 10 teams (Lions, Eagles and Vikings). Who have the Ravens beaten? They beat the Bills, right? But also twice against the Bengals, the Cowboys and who else? The Packers have beaten the 7-4 Texans, the 6-4 Cardinals, the 5-5 Rams, and the 5-6 Colts (& the Bears, Jags, and Titans). While I do believe that the Ravens are a better team than the Packers, I don't think that it's a huge gap. The Ravens are living a little bit on last year's record. The Ravens are a playoff team but I have concerns.
“Obvious no call penalty” I thought Ziggy was supposed to be the smart one? Nobody lined up over the center and nobody used leverage over him. Once the ball is snapped and the center moves you can run over him. It’s college football where you can’t touch the long snapper. Learn the rule before you open your mouth
His head was down. You cannot touch the longsnapper before he raises his head if he snapped the ball less than a second ago. They don't always call it, but the Bears had it called against them last year.
@@ThePaulFarringtonShowThe "1 second rule" is for NCAA, not the NFL. He looks up after the snap during the play while his stance just doesn't change much because of him and the whole rest of one side of the Bears line being blown up. Unfortunately the snapper just had a bad stance and played poorly. All of the measurable signs in the play point to it not being a penalty, and as a rule being on the side with Matt Eberflus is generally inadvisable, that man is blaming everyone but himself.
I'm glad you accepted the feedback on the changes. Last week was your worst prediction because you ignored what makes your power rankings so unique and enjoyable to watch.
Last year after 10 games the Packers were 4-6, they would go on to lose to Tommy DeVito’s Giants, let Baker Mayfield put up a perfect passer rating, and give Bryce Young his career day. Peak at the right time and anything can happen.
Never bet a Packer Bear game. They are truly the biggest rivalry in football. You never know what will happen in any of their games. Both teams want to embarrass their rivals.🤔
*GO PACK GO!* Edit: I'd just like to say I came into this season expecting playoffs, but that the Packers were still a season or two from truly contending. Still many mistakes and penalties, and sometimes some questionable play calling.
Definitely disagree that Jordan played bad, he statistically played well and also passed the eye test. Also there was no penalty on the block, long snappers have said so, Belichick has said so, multiple analysts and former refs have been asked about the potential penalty on that play and all of them have said it's very unlikely that's a penalty. It's just a good play. The Packers played bad against Detroit, nobody is disputing that, but they did hold the Lions offense to 17 points, that's not nothing. This defense has consistently been difficult for opposing teams to play against, and points hard to come by. If they can just get that offense chugging along.
I feel Josh Allen is most deserving of MVP. While Goff is having a career year, I think an argument could be made that you can replace Goff and the lions would still be the best team in the league. Josh Allen is irreplaceable
Once again you guys overlook the idea of it being a week by week league. GB can beat any team in the league, at any point. So while they haven’t looked dominant like Detroit, it think they have NO chance at all is stupid. Jordan love was finally 100% healthy last week, no knee brace. And looked great. This will only continue. Not to mention the run game we have. That matters in the playoffs against teams like the commanders who don’t shut down the run. We are just fine
Jack is begrudgingly, 100% right on the Packers. There are too many picks. The red zone offense is lacking. Third downs are pitiful. My team is not on the level of a super bowl contender. The defense though is the biggest issue in my mind. The bears had the ball for damn near 37 minutes. The Packers, setting aside a second quarter knee, had the ball only 5 times. The defense has to pick it up.
I’m a Packer fan and can honestly say the Packers are not a Super Bowl contender this year. They are a year away. Next year they will be. Detroit is the only legit Super Bowl contender in the NFC. The biggest threat to the Lions is Philly or any wildcard team that gets hot in December.

This division is still very close
You fellas do realize the packers out gained the lions by 150 yards. I think it was pretty evident that the packers beat themselves in that game. Jordan love may of thrown 3 picks against your vikings but in the second half he looked like a top 3 qb in the league.
The Steelers dropped 37 on a good jets defense, 28 on the Commanders, and kept Lamar Jackson to below 50% completion rate, along with forcing Henry to look like an average RB and it's luck? You don't know ball. Absolutely pathetic
I strongly disagree with ziggys notion that defense doesn’t show up when it matters. The chiefs just won a superbowl almost entirely on a great defense and are 9-1 despite a bad offense. Ask any packers fan why they’ve only won 2 rings in the last 30 years and the answer is “because the defense is always ass” Offense gets you to the playoffs, defense wins in the playoffs
The Steelers beat the Ravens for the 8th time in 9 games and completely fluster and contain Lamar and it’s luck? Absolute garbage rankings putting the Ravens ahead of the Steelers at this point…
These power ranking are merely content, they don't mean anything at the end of the season. Packers went on a run and could've gotten to the SB as a 9-8 wild card team last year. It's always who playing the best in December and can go on a run. The Lions can choke like any real good team in the past has. The Packers beat themselves against the Lions and held that potent offense to 17 pts.
The rain held the lions to 17 points and the game ended at the packers 15 yard line on a kneel down lol packers delusions that they somehow hung with the lions in an obvious blowout will be finished when they play again at ford field
@bertisheoff Jordan's injury held the Packers to 14. Lions haven't done anything in their franchise history. Win a SB then you can talk all you want. Until then, score all the points you want, doesn't mean much.

This fool Ziggy once again cracking me up saying Jordan love look like he was going back to "vintage" Love???😅.. like benefit from what era?? .. opoh wait, you're talking about his one half of a good season??.. you would think this guy been in the league for like 10 years and seven of those years has been good or something with the way they talk about Love.. this comedy gold.. if anything he's looking more like how he has in the 1st half of last season then he did in the second half of last season.. 🤦🤷
Jack makes me unsure of my heterosexual relationship
its crazy the way ppl talk as though the 49ers always beat seattle - the current streak has been all of two seasons lmao. in 2021 the seahawks swept Sf. in 2020 seattle swept sf. in 2019 and 2018 they split. In 2017 the seahawks swept sf. Shanahan has had literally 2 seasons in a row with above average success vs seattle and y'all talk like he 's some great boogeyman for the seahawks- look at records longer back than literally 2 seasons and stop this ish. Seattle's pwned SF for this whole century. 2 years in between don't mean diddlysquat
To be fair, those two seasons are the two Brock Purdy seasons, but I take the point
L take ziggy Love played well
Ziggy, The Packers would be 9--1 if they had a kicker earlier in the season. Good teams find ways to win. The Pack is definitely a playoff team. 🤔
You made an excuse for their losses and then said good teams find a way to win, packers are out in the first round if they make it, overrated
@bertisheoff I didn't make an excuse for their losses. I pointed out that they lost two games by less than three points with a missed field goal. We took care of that. It could be worse. I could be a Bear fan.
