A.C.E (에이스) and Choice (초이스) rhyme in Korean as they share the same second and third syllables, and it carries the meaning of the fans and artist choosing to love and support each other. And both A.C.E and Choice's 7th anniversaries are on the 23rd of this month! 🥳 The silence as the members think about their answer to the prompt just feels so poignant. Sure all artists have a unique relationship with their respective fans, but I think there's genuinely something so special about the bond between nugu groups and their fans because they truly feel like they're all each other have in the world. A.C.E, when this was released, was only two years into their career and had spent all of the previous year in pieces competing on different survival shows all to get the group's name out there with not too much to show for it. Mix Nine was a mess and the final group (which would have had two A.C.E members in it) never debuted and while The Unit managed to debut its groups (one of them with Yuchan), it wasn't a massively popular survival show like the others at that point had been so UNB and Uni.T saw little success, if any. So If You Heard is A.C.E thanking fans for sticking around and waiting for them, for allowing them to continue singing, and for being a comforting and reassuring presence for them. If you heard is my favorite fan song among all of Kpop fan song i've ever heard. Everyone need to listen this song with knowing the lyrics, because i love the lyric so much! Its so beautiful. The first lyric (chan and byeongkwan part) got me teary. Its just very honest and sincere
