I think you have to keep in mind that they are high schoolers, maybe 16-17 for ongsa and sun. So the cheesiness and clumsiness is understandable lmao.
I think she feels like she's getting too old/adult for this "Teenage sh*t", I mean she has complained about GMMTV 90% being based on school grounds multiple times before so I think, she feels like she can't mentally and physically stomach it anymore in her "adulthood-world " she's living in now, for a while.
I think she and a few - many, maybe would need something along the lines of "A Boss and a Babe" but without the comedy, eventually (also personally I thought it was ok-great) but if these shows tried to get the actors (& actresses out) off school grounds never paid off, as well in the end as hoped and imagined? Don't you think there is more than 1 logistically reason why we're always getting back to "them Kids"? 😉 😉
If they don't manage that, I could see GMMTV lose some ranking points in the reactors guide on the western side or some people might eventually even end their "GMMTV/BLGL-Days"...
They are 16/17 I don’t like when some people forget they were 16/17 at some point they are young experiencing feelings and feelings for the same gender can be confusing they are so cute milklove chemistry is beautiful and so naturel I don’t fell the awkwardness everyone is talking about
I mean Sun's over the top jealousy just shows that she is a flawed person as well and I do think different rules apply to fictional characters. Jealousy in real life is a red flag to me too. I think in this context it's fine because they both kind of fit together with their different flaws.
In the last episode, I remember the way you talked about how Sun was being portrayed in this series as "too perfect" and artificial and how difficult it is to relate to a character like that (which is obviously true). I think we're gonna get more perspective about her now, her flaws and her actually acting like a normal teenager, doing stupid, immature things.
That's the big part of this show (and in novel)
that in ep6 or prior people keep saying Sun is such a nice person and too good to be real
Truth is she has the overly possessive and jealousy side of her that makes her imperfect
When she's in love she accept everything about the person and love the person no matter what
but she also can be very possessive and easily jealous over every tiny thing
On the other hand Ongsa manage to find that side of Sun cute all the time no matter what
That’s why they fit with each other so well :P

They are texting each other because Ongsa feels more comfortable to speak. It is not related to social media or Gen Z. They are still new to this... so... they are taking the proper steps to communicate!
LOL, her jealousy come through her possessiveness and you can see that she is all up for Ongsa being pretty and when it comes to Sun's words, you can see her possessiveness for Ongsa to be exclusively be for her. However, despite having an uncontrollable jealousy within her, she doesn't put Ongsa down immediately and still support her after she calm down. She only express her feelings in front of her friends just to vent. Overall it just shows that she have a flawed side and still not to a point of a red flag. It only turns into a red flag if she become to toxic where she didn't consider Ongsa as a person and does things that are hurting Ongsa. Honestly Jealousy is a good trait to have in a relationship, because you would know that that person like you or not. I cant imagine my partner not being jealous. Honestly it boils down to how one manages jealousy in a relationship. it is okay to feel jealous or rant out, even tho sometimes, it is not pleasant to hear.
Also please remember that Ongsa and Ton actually dated before, even tho Ongsa love Sun and it is quite obvious but... remember that they are still in a situationship where nothing is certain and they don't have the adequate relationship building yet. I am sure that even if they were to progress further into the relationship and you see your partner being with someone else, you will still feel jealous, even if the relationship is strong. Because one cannot read someone mind and you will feel insecure just like that. Sun is not mad at Ongsa by the way... she is just being on fire with all the fanning by all of Ongsa's gang.
As for whether it is healthy jealous or not... you can obviously see it is healthy as well. She was only like that when Ton came in, but when her friends are there, she didn't push everyone away from Ongsa. Even tho she is possessive, she does talk with logic and about her feelings and ask Ongsa about her thoughts. Aka COMMUNICATION! haha it is funny that they are doing it in front of their friends tho.
I am pretty sure that if Ongsa didn't stop her in front of her friends, Sun would be the type to apologise and speak her mind just like how she did and if Ongsa doesn't want to be gf, she would respect that.
hehe just a spoiler for the novel, even Ongsa was jealous after many years later and confronted Sun, even tho Sun reassure her that she have made it clear to the guy off cameras. Ongsa is possessive but passively considering her character's personality

Sun has the right to be jealous because as humans we can’t prevent being jealous, but when we get to the point where you don’t want your partner to even improve themselves, simply cause of the fact that someone might look at them that’s just a big fat red flag
