Fact: Everyone on field is going all out every down. But if you don't have a QB that can read defenses; it doesn't matter how many sparks you have. The run game gets stuffed with 9 men in the box. See the upcoming Giants season for sparkety bullshit cliches on the podium; lots of losses. Joe Judge is what happens when you take Sparks and toughness cliches add them all together; subtract what really matters in winning and losing like passing offense and pass defense.

I don't know if it's just love for the Patriots or Brady but out of all Those 2009 games that can be watched, the 2009 Patriots @ Saints MNF when the Saints beat them down can never be found but that 2013 game when the Patriots won can be watched. That 2009 Carolina Panther defense could have been special but the offense kept turning the ball over. They struggled stopping the run but they still finished 8th overall and 5th in points allowed despite the offense and special teams given numerous return touchdowns and putting the defense in bad field positions.
The 2009 Panthers with 4.8 Yards Per Carry and TWO 1000 yard rushers; went 8-8. The 2009 Titans had CJ2K 2000 yards; also 8-8. THIS should have taught every fan how you win in the NFL. Not 'lack of toughness' Lack of Pass offense; without the ability to convert 3rd and 8 with a pass; nothing else matters. The most you can hope for is to give the REAL teams like 2009 Saints, a challenge. That's your cieling. You can even win it all with PUTRID rushing like 2011 NY Giants. Run game is fun and all, I love watching it, but I stopped being an idiot about it.
