That timing kit with SA on the gear is Sa Gear they have a video on TH-cam I was wondering if there timing chain kits was any good now I know they aren't, Thanks we both know now there junk,Great Job
My question is did you bought the sprockets or did you put the same ones? I’m rebuilding my engine and bought new sprockets and guess what they weren’t the same!!! So I wanna know if you bought them.. where did you get them from!!!
I did not buy them. Just timing chain replacement. I will suggest you to get them from the dealer. Just give them your vin number so they can get your the right ones
@@antonioaguirre6166 I’ll do that. The ones I have look for will not fit the camshaft the thickness of the sprocket is thicker than the originals. Once I toque the bolt the sprocket won’t spin at all.
Not necessarily, these engines burn oil all the time since new, the design of them makes them like that. Lack of lubrication can be a weak oil pump, a restriction on the pickup tune or a leak on the suction side like the pick up tube seal

@@DwightAlexander-y1k thank you for your support and thank you for watching. I did not like that timing chain kit at all
Hello, How do I know what valve cover gaskets to use, design 1 or 2? 2015 Buick Enclave v6/ 3.6 liter, parts stores don't explain...Jim
that's probably design 2. 2013 and up has an aluminum valve cover. different from the 2012 down
I see what you saying. I know for sure design 1 is for the older Buick 2012 down.
Thank you.@@antonioaguirre6166
Great job right there. Quick question. Will this work on a GMC acadia 2008?
yes, it's the same process. I think I have a video for 2008 Buick enclave with the same engine. 09 and up is a little different but the same process
@@antonioaguirre6166 thanks boss. Appreciate your reply.

Wouldn’t be the reason of lack of lubrication is an indication that this engine might be burning oil ?
