I totally agree with you. Vintage pieces are way better than what is being sold now. The quality of the material and you can tell that the designers took their time with each piece. I love your new bag! Super cute and it looks very sturdy and will last the test of time. Congrats!

Love the bag! I have a top handle and a hobo from the same era. They have lasted soooo well from 2005-2007ish! I have flaps from 2011-3013ish. I have 2022 pieces. My 2022 pieces have more wear and issues than any of my older chanel pieces. Quality has changed. I am on a break from buying new boutique chanel until I see a change. I have enough to rotate through from Hermes to Dior to LV to chanel. Chanel’s my favorite but I can’t stand how the quality has changed.
I can’t believe how vintage bags are made so much better than the new bags from the boutique. From now on, I’m mostly going to buy Chanel vintage. Better investment and better quality 💕
@@SomethingLatte I knocked my medium chale classic flap in beige Clair from 2013 (sent you an IG photo of it) into another shopping bag pretty hard with a large load in it. Nothing happened. Baby my 2022 jumbo classic flap and have peeling pebbles from who knows where and I’ve only used it twice … to chanel to pick up other bags 🙄. Even my new trendy cc WOC from 3/2022 has tarnishing rose gold hardware. No clue why
