- This video shows our badgers sniffing out the food we’ve hidden for them in the deep patches of ivy.
Filmed on the 4th October 2016.
We are at one of our favourite badger setts - the one with all the deep ivy leaves.
We chopped up a couple of small cooked sausage rolls and scattered the pieces into the patch of ivy.
This clip shows just what an amazing sense of smell the badgers have - they are almost submerged in the ivy, but plough through it using their powerful sense of small to find the food.
