Asking God questions is different than questioning God. And questioning God is different than gaslighting God. It boils down to what is in our hearts, what our motive is at the time.
Another great & encouraging video @Mr Predicto. I can definitely see why there are times people would question The Lord. I have asked him why? Never with pride always humbly. I know he always works things together for our good. I know prayers don’t get answered immediately & that there is a reason for everything. We may not like our circumstances or question “why me”. I just know I have to keep my faith in The Lord. We can be good Christians and still experience horrible things. Yes absolutely true we have the right to ask a question but certainly not the right to question God or his authority....
Now many may say so Pastor you and Doug are saying we have to believe everything in blind faith? NO!!! God has provided all answers to our questions throughout scripture and like Solomon said "there's nothing new under the sun" other words anything that you have questions too have already been addressed throughout scripture! And we are "to love God and trust in God with all our heart,,, soul and mind"....
Many times in my life I've either encountered people both back home and online where they say "I used to be a Christian" I used to believe in Jesus but I don't anymore " my reply usually goes like this "Sorry you have never been a Christian nor have you ever believed in Jesus "and then of course I usually get the "Well how would you know if I did or didn't believe at some point",,,,or I get this alot "I did once believe I used to go to church and everything " ....🙄
The reason I'm such a skeptic of their claims is simple ....First there's no way you can meet the real Jesus and receive him as your Lord and Savior and walk away from him which means you either got caught up in the "what could be syndrome" which really means you had the idea of belief but never actually attained the faith that makes real belief possible........
There's no way on God's green earth can you come to the foot of the cross ✝️ with complete surrender and walk away from Christ! Impossible! Even Jesus said "Father I have not lost one that you have given me"....think about that (not even one) ......Keep in mind once sealed by the (Holy Spirit) you are God's forever! .....
And for those who say "I used to believe I went to Church my whole life"
Well going to your favourite restaurant twice a week does not make you a Chef!!! .....The reason for my side tracking here is because having faith or feeling you do is not what makes you a believer it's by your actions and by the fruit you bear .....I just thought this also ties into the part about questioning God and perhaps it's our prideful questioning that prevents one from hearing God in the first place.....

Pastor Mill I see TH-cam decided you could leave your comment! 😅😅😅 Yes you said that very well. Jesus has never lost one of his, not even one! I agree with that 100%! You definitely have to question a person's faith or lack of, with a statement " I used to be!" I do believe they never truly gave their life over to the Lord. I always love your wisdom in these situations 🙂🙏❤️
