Apologies to DJ Shadow and DJ Lethal for the mix up. I’m an idiot. 😂 -Richard **If you or someone you know is struggling with substance abuse and they’re ready to get help, contact us via email.** thegreatmeasures@gmail.com
Yes, Run The Jewels - give Richard some of "Legend has it" - he might enjoy that one too. Great Reaction - i like that you switch it up occasionally. :)
Rad song. The lyrics have a certain manic Kendall Roy energy, which is hilariously arrogant to the point where it becomes parodic. It continues to be so fun to see you mixing things up with these switches and branching out genre-wise.
I like that you mix it up sometimes (roles, genres.... whatever). I had my hip-hop phase too. Wouldn't mind both of you introducing your favorite hip-hop pieces to each other. All good music.
Judson, bruh who knew you're bringing out slapping hip hop mate, top notch. Do you get into your Company Flow? Cunnylinguists? DJ Shadow has always been amazing, Endtroducing was groundbreaking as hell.
This track is absolute fire. I'm mainly a metalhead, but I've always had a thing for hip-hop. I think it's the fact that a lot of rap comes from a similar place to metal, marginalised people making good music to express their views.
Loving it when you guys mix it up. I reckon would be cool to see Judson react to some more recent Bring Me the Horizon that incorporates electronic music and production into metal.
If you all like this one, I recommend Backstage Girl by DJ Shadow. This one features Phonte Coleman from a hip hop called Little Brother. My favorite from DJ Shadow
DJ Shadow rules. Has Judson heard DJ Shadow's “My Own Reality” before? Check it out if you haven't (Then maybe show it to Richard on an episode? lol) It's a sick remix of a great song by King Gizzard.
👿🔱😈.. TARDIGRADE INFERNO CLOCKWORK GOD...Lov the music..interesting stuff.. Rapping sounds good to just lyrically lame...im a old school rap head so i dig lyrics that have meaning..now put chuck D on this track and we got something good going 🤘
@@caesare.j.w.668 oh yeah you're right you're actually correct that what they lyrically discussing is really deep.. especially compared to rappers such as Rakim or Chuck D.. how did I possibly miss all that deep lyrical content ? 🙄
no sir i did not like it rap hip hop whatever is so boring and contains nothing of interest to my ear its like how ufc is just professional hugging boring af

You can opps we all do.
Nas and biggie....I dig that.
Sometimes Jay z.
❤
I thought the same, but blame the confusion on M. Shadows from Avenged 7x
I've also heard this instrumental in a commercial
You're not an idiot. You're a good man Richard...
... You do listen to corny music though.
The ol’ switcheroo again. Love it guys.
I’m a metalhead but I love DJ Shadow. Organ Donor is a classic!
This was a favorite of mine in my senior year of high school. Excellent beat and flows
🤣
Richard: "is DJ Shadow Limp Bizkit?"
Judson's Eyes "My brother in christ..."
😂😂😂😂

Oh man we spammed this tune for a whole summer, good times. Video is great too!
What a great track!
Yes the switch up!!
I love it.
That guitar line
Ive been a fan of DJ shadow for YEARS!!! Love that this made it here. Id love to see you guys listen to some of The Roots or even Jurassic 5.
Judson delivers another banger song to Richard 🔥love his taste of music

Flippin' da scrip...
I think I'll be giving DJ Shadow some listens. Morning drives to work are about to bump.
MY FAVORITE TIME OF THE DAY
Great choice.
Never heard of this before, but damn what a good ass song!!!!
Shadow has been putting out great effort after great effort. Love that album.
The music video for this is perfection.
It is! Shot in Kyiv, Ukraine
I just wanted to mention it. Great song, but equally great video, with out it, it's only half the experience. ;)
I have that suffocation shirt. Yall are hilarious btw.
Endtroducing is the only album i need from DJ shadow. Nothing else comes close.
This song was featured in a car commercial. You were right sir
This track is absolute fire.

Great track!
Killer Mike is from ATL and EL-P is from the Bronx.
Would love to get a reaction to Dirty Loops!
Loving it when you guys mix it up. I reckon would be cool to see Judson react to some more recent Bring Me the Horizon that incorporates electronic music and production into metal.
But why not the video??? It's brilliant and at least half the fun of this song

Judd is based for this song choice. Unlocked a memory for me. Haven’t checked out this track in a while.
Nice pick!
Not a rap fun, but this song slaps. The video is great
at first I thought the first seven notes on the piano was the Jeopardy! tune, but pitched up.

well this is interesting change. If you're going to DJ Shadow you gotta do something from Endtroducing
odd sqad family, sublime, kottonmouth kings, rehab, fj outlaw, icp

RTJ is lyrical stuff, this song is a bunch of delicious shit-talking, supposedly an old head but you don’t know what you’re listening to

Saw them with Rage Against the Machine. Can’t say I was a fan but I have a hard time with straight rap, especially live.
El p is New York
Pleaaaase introduce Richard to more RTJ! They have ruined me for hiphop for life. Everyone else just sounds lazy and untalented to me now haha
Agreed! RTJ4 is soooo good
😂😂😂😂 New concept of videos?
We like to switch it up occasionally
just go Evanescence - any song
The tune is nice, but I find all the backround "filling" sounds rather annoying...
mad child times change , necro acab
It's a no from me, but can see it working well on a soundtrack.
It went really well on an album
no sir i did not like it
rap hip hop whatever is so boring and contains nothing of interest to my ear
its like how ufc is just professional hugging
boring af
If you’re bored you’re boring, this track is fire
