I don’t have time to watch this full video right now, but I watched the first few minutes and have to say that I relate so much to the need for tangible accomplishment. And I so appreciate you being vulnerable and honest about how you’re feeling, it counteracts the culture of curated perfection that is so prevalent on social media. Thank you.
Thank you so much for this thoughtful feedback 😊 I'm glad I'm not alone in these feelings. I agree, the curated perfection can get so exhausting and make us all feel like there must be something wrong with us if our lives don't look as perfect as what we see on social media.
Thank you so much for all your videos. I'm new to weaving & I am so grateful to you for sharing your knowledge. It's amazing how therapeutic weaving can be. ❤❤❤
A notch did break on me once but I glued it back together and I don’t even know which one it was now! Great suggestion. I actually have to try not to weave because atm I need to edit a video for my channel but all I want to do is be weaving. Thank you for being real. Love your videos and your honesty. Love your channel.
I so loved this video. Every second of it. It doesn’t matter what crafts we do but we have all been there. You are so empowering. Thank you for sharing this moment with us!!!??❤
This was fun!, at your expense and your joy. The spontenaity, the design notes you shared, really awesome. I agree starting is the hardest part. Thanks for pushing through. So inspiring.😊
I saw a therapist for the first time a week ago. I was knitting a hat in the waiting room. I had an in-progress sweater in the bag. I told him that I'm always stressed or depressed (clinical depression, not just meh-depression), and it helps to make things. I need to keep my hands moving, and some ppl use fidget spinners, which seem pointless to me. He really likes my coping mechanism. Next time I see him, I'll be working on some gloves or something.
Thank you for sharing that, I appreciate your vulnerability! I definitely believe that making things is therapeutic and good for the soul, I'm glad to hear it's helping you cope with depression ❤️
I love that. Crafting is such a therapy for me...especially making jewelry.

I used the knotting of the yarn before weaving to make textured rocks in a small tapestry, it worked brilliantly, thanks for the tip

So glad to hear glue worked? What kind do you use? And I can also relate haha, a lot of the time I have to do the other tasks and not the weaving lol

Also, where are your glasses from? I love them!

My glasses are from Costco- they're Vogue brand
@@spruceandlinen ahh awesome! Thank you! Love your channel so much❤️
How do you cut dowels!?
I use my mitre saw, but if you’re not into power tools you can use a hand saw + a mitre box if you want a really straight cut 😊
