THE FIRST ONE, THE WOMAN, WAS THE FINEST ACT EVER PRESENTED ANYWHERE, OTHERS PALE BY COMPARISON.
Seriously? It's a super simple trick dressed up as more. When she closes the box it just lays the picture she wants over the top of the other one. Think about it. There's no need for it to go into the box at all, just turn it over so it reveals the one she's chosen, but she doesn't do that. I thought the first one was very weak, she just dressed it up with spooky nonsense.

The trick with the egg got me freaking out. I love magic tricks that don't involve blatantly hiding anything. When it happens right before your eyes, that's far more mindblowing
Egg trick was a gimmicked piece of paper, freely available. Second trick, he gave the woman a pen with no ink. He'd previously marked the seat number himself and it appeared as though the woman wrote it, but she made no mark. In the seat was his assistant, the first vanish was a basic technique, the girl who appeared in the second compartment was the first girl's twin sister. Basic, simple routine.

First act - beautifully done. Told a story, to the right character (Amanda), with an enough to-the-point but not too scary build up, with a seriously frightening twist that was executed so smoothly as we follow Amanda's and her camera's narrative. WHat an act.

I think that was the easier one to figure out though....She simply had the cigar box with the picture of Agatha Turner loaded in the top and a false bottom, so when it was closed the false bottom with the picture on top covered the actual chosen picture......
Everything else was choreographed to make the switch in dark areas or moments of inattention when the camera wasn't on....
@@cydoniaquest I'm terrible at figuring out magic but the moment she had Amanda reopen the cigar box I knew there was a false bottom or trap door that would drop in the pre-selected photo. I enjoyed the atmosphere but it's one of the weakest tricks I've seen on here.

They use Simon for dangerous stunts but during the seasons, Alicia has been pregnant numerous times so the producers keep her.. David, because of he's bi-sexuality, even though he's dated more women his quote that he is open, they aren't "quite sure what the act will do ".. That's why they do what they do with Amanda on this series.. AGT, they do the same, they use Howie much less because he's suffered from OCD and takes meds.. There is a reason why they do what they do basically..

++SPOILER++ The seating chart already had a dot marked on the seat where the magician had a plant, a woman assistant who obviously has a twin sister. This is why he had the woman make the mark behind her back. The marker had no ink and how should she know where she had made the mark? This is called a force. It looks random, but is actually under the control of the magician the entire time.
