Quite honestly I hated these shoes the first time they were trendy in the 00s and still have an aversion to them, but the black ones with the straps are quite cute. On me they just look like children's shoes/way too feminine, I've always balanced out my looks with structured/masculine shoes 😅

I tend to wear shorts with a 10inch inseam as my legs are not my best feature. I know heels can work well with shorts, but I can't walk in 2-3 inch heels during a 10 hour day. Ballet flats unfortunately are not very good for your feet and knees. It is better not to wear them too often.

Ballet flats are cute but it is the worst shoe for your spine .
They are terrible but not as bad as heels in my opinion. It seems that women will forever be stuck damaging themselves for fashion.

Some brands like Margaux have padded insoles and are really comfy.
Search arch support ballet flats. Vogue recently recommended ballet flats by Frankie. I have them and the support is perfect.
You can add inserts for support. They are terrible lacking support.
