Dude, you don't need to take the dashboard out. Remove the accelerator pedal (be carefull with the bolts, they are not attached on the back side), then release the steering shaft. Now comes the tricky part. You can't see anything, it's all by feel. The blower has no screws, just a clip. Grab the clip then rotate counter clock wise. It's not easy but it took me less than half an hour.
