I was right there this year! While Eva was shooting this. I've never seen anything like Shandur Polo in my life, anywhere in this world! We camped there for a night. Unbelievable!

Well Shandur is in the middle of Chirtal(my home town) and gilgit baltistan. Its part KPK and part GB
Horses are life. I never played polo but I play tent pegging. Horse riding isn’t an easy job but if you start loving horses then you can learn it. Riding is a passion. I was just 11 when i first time got my rib fractured after falling from a horse
Actually, the Shandur area(where the polo is played) is a disputed territory between Gilgit and Chitral and historically many battles had been fought between the rulers of the two regions over the Shandur. It adds extra flavor and intensity to the polo tournament.
