I was trying to/ focusing on drop shipping to avoid holding inventory and dealing with shipping expense. However, I do realize the ideal business should be you buying in bulk and re-sell. My problem comes at the time of shipping, how do you handle the shipping expenses? Let’s have this scenario: let’s say that I buy 100 table lamps from my supplier (Alibaba) and I list them for 25 my product cost was 6.5 per unit. After eBay fees my residual is 15, then I have to deal with the shipping , which I have notices thar it takes a big chunk of my profits even makes me go negative. How do you get cheaper shipping? I was thinking on charging but then that will discourage buyers
I think dropshipping is actually superior to wholesale for many reasons - one of them being you don't risk buying products that will never sell. When you list an item for sale you include in it ALL the costs, including shipping.

Hmm I'm not sure. It's impossible for me to tell without looking at your account because there are so many different factors. You have to consider your price, titles, photos, account standing, etc.

Out of all of those transactions, maybe 100 buyers have sent me a message asking me why their item came in a different box (I think it's actually much less than 100). Out of those 100 people, only about 50 followed up after I sent them an explanation and continued to complain about it. The fees aren't that bad imho. They charge based on the number of listings you have so maybe you scaled too high with products that weren't selling that well? I'd concentrate on doing good product research so the items you list actually sell well!

Yes based on your settings on Autods, it will increase the price of your item enough to cover all fees and so you make a profit as well.
