My band (Arch-Rival) was playing the LA circuit back then...from LA to Orange Co....etc...I mostly knew Randy Piper and George Lynch (who's band at that time was Xciter)....we were all hard working nobodies back then...
I have to say. Blackie is as unique a person as well as his voice. I find him an exceptionally talented musician who I've been listening to since the early 80s. Looking forward to seeing the 40th anniversary tour in Greensburg Pa next weekend. Very awesome.

I had pseunomia in st Marys hospital, and was to sick to make it. Somehow both tickets for show on Sat 29th , stolen on phone through ticketmaster website. Hoping to see in December at Wiltern. How cold can a person be when I almost died. They made off with my wife and my tickets! Now whoever you are. You had best of been fan. Because yeah, I fucking cried and indistraught with disbelief!
Fully recovered and burnt! I was going to get tickets to go to Wiltern, but can't afford it. So hurt and probably last time to see these bands. Feeling so fucked up. Waited for so long! Vibe is ftw, Peace

@@WASPNationOfficial That place was as packed as I have ever seen it. Not blaming the band at all here. Just questioned why they made us wait nearly an hour before announcing that it was being shut down. Really disappointing that WASP couldn't play. Hopefully they come back around soon.
Apparently the Fire Marshall informed the venue if they removed people the show could continue. So the venue was determining what they would do. But, obviously that wasn’t a realistic option. The band was sitting on their bus waiting for a decision to be made.

Refunds are pending but some of us (I was 8 when WASP was labeled one of the Filthy Fifteen) never got to see them live. Blackie is a sharp guy so if he can find a way to make it back to Dallas you better believe that folks will pack the place.
Blackie Lawless said "the Dallas Police Department advised us to leave the venue immediately because they said they could not guarantee our safety”. He went on to say “promoters didn’t think this band could sell tickets in the U.S. anymore, well it goes to show the absolute dedication of our fan base has here in the U. S.”. No return date has been set for this show, but Blackie said, “we’ll certainly be back, you can bet on that”.
