About HH Gopal Krishna Goswami Maharaj:
His Holiness Gopal Krishna Goswami Maharaja is an empowered spiritual master and pure devotee of Supreme Lord. He is tirelessly engaged in the mission of spreading the message of Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu blessed with the mercy of his spiritual master and the founder Acharya of ISKCON, HDG A C Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada.
His Holiness Gopal Krishna Goswami Maharaj appeared on August 14, 1944 on the most auspicious day of Annada Ekadashi in New Delhi. He completed his graduation from Delhi University and then went to Sorbonne University of Paris for Business Management on a scholarship of French Government. Later on he achieved his Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the McGill University at Montreal.
He first met his spiritual master His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada on 1st June, 1968 in Montreal. Immediately meeting Srila Prabhupada within two weeks HH Gopal Krishna Goswami Maharaja decided that he would accept Srila Prabhupada as his spiritual master. At that time he was working for Pepsi Cola in marketing research. Srila Prabhupada took special interest in him and both of them started a regular correspondence. In 1969, 27th May, Srila Prabhuapada gave him initiation.
Later on HH Gopal Krishna Goswami Maharaj moved into the temple and rendered his full time devoted services. He also worked as Srila Prabhupada’s personal secretary for many years. In 1975, Srila Prabhuapda made him General Body Commissioner (GBC) of India from 1975 to 1976. Srila Prabhupada gave him instructions to expand printing books and book distribution in India. Srila Prabhupada became very happy when he first saw the first printed copy of Srimad Bhagavatam in Hindi language.
Amidst the most unfavorable situations distributing the message of God by preaching, elevating the conditioned souls from the mud of material world, presenting exemplary behavior in devotional service and perfect management are some of the glittering pearls of Maharaj’s glory.
He has imparted his kind guidance and tireless efforts in establishing a wide number of temples across the globe and the mission is still going on. He is taking personally the responsibility of elevating the conditioned souls by initiating them worldwide.
At present he is the GBC for Mumbai, Northern India (New Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, UP, Vrindavan, Chandigarh), Mayapur, Kenya, Canada, some states of America and many parts of Commonwealth of Independent States. He is also the chairman and trustee of Bhaktivedanta Book Trust.
Srila Prabhupada used to admire him and his qualities by often saying that “Gopal is a very nice boy and he must be encouraged.”
HH Gopal Krishna Goswami is the live example of an ideal Acarya who teaches by his own example following the footsteps of his spiritual master as it is and moving the mission at its zenith.

We pray to Rādhārāṇī because She is the pleasure potency of Kṛṣṇa. Kṛṣṇa means "all-attractive." But Rādhārāṇī is so great that She attracts Kṛṣṇa. Kṛṣṇa is all-attractive, and She is attractive (attractor) of Kṛṣṇa. So what is the position of Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī? We should try to understand this day and offer our obeisances to Rādhārāṇī. Rādhe vṛndāvaneśvarī.

We are trying to understand the chief potency of Kṛṣṇa. Rādhārāṇī is the pleasure potency of Kṛṣṇa. As we understand from Vedic literature

So we should try to understand Rādhārāṇī's feature. Rādhārāṇī is the pleasure potency, hlādinī-śakti. Ānandamayo 'bhyāsāt (Vedānta-sūtra 1.1.12).

Rādhārāṇī is hari-priyā, very dear to Kṛṣṇa. So if we approach Kṛṣṇa through Rādhārāṇī, through the mercy of Rādhārāṇī, then it becomes very easy. If Rādhārāṇī recommends that "This devotee is very nice," then Kṛṣṇa immediately accepts, however fool I may be. Because it is recommended by Rādhārāṇī, Kṛṣṇa accepts. Therefore in Vṛndāvana you'll find all the devotees, they're chanting more Rādhārāṇī's name than Kṛṣṇa's. Wherever you'll go, you'll find the devotees are addressing, "Jaya Rādhe." You'll find still in Vṛndāvana. They are glorifying Rādhārāṇī. They're more interested, worshiping Rādhārāṇī. Because however fallen I may be, if some way or other I can please Rādhārāṇī, then it is very easy for me to understand Kṛṣṇa.
So try to understand Kṛṣṇa. And when Kṛṣṇa want to enjoy, what kind of enjoyment that shall be? Try to understand this point. Kṛṣṇa is so great; God is great, everyone knows. So when the great wants to enjoy, then what quality of enjoyment that should be? That is to be understood. Rādhā-kṛṣṇa... Therefore Svarūpa Dāmodara Gosvāmī has written a verse, rādhā-kṛṣṇa-praṇaya-vikṛtiḥ. The loving affairs of Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa is not ordinary, these material loving affairs

There is no understanding of Kṛṣṇa. To understand Kṛṣṇa is very difficult.

Out of millions of persons, one may try to make his life perfect. Everyone is working like animal. There's no question of perfection of life. The animal propensities: eating, sleeping, mating and defending... So everyone is engaged like animals. They have no other business, just like animal, hogs, dogs, whole day and night working: "Where is stool? Where is stool?" And as soon as he gets some stool, gets some fat, "Where is sex? Where is sex?" No consideration of mother or sister. This is hog's life
