- The parabolic line is a great way to either search for fish in multiple columns, or just give the fish a different look by presenting your flies differently. It's been a high producing fly line for us for a few years now.

The Airflo sweep lines are excellent, this is very similar to how we fish from boats in the UK - less for the matching shirts
Great tutorial, nice explanation of how the line works, the leader setup demo is very helpful. Well done!
Excellent video! I bought a parabolic line to fish the 2022 season with and can not wait till ice out
Just picked up rio’s sweep line can’t wait to try it
Love the shirts!!!! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the insight fellas, I suck booby at still waters, I’ll give this a try.
Please do a similar video with midge tip. Thanks for the Video.
Funny about the distance casting comment - the folks that I know that say distance isn’t important can’t cast for distance. I’ve had many trips where the difference between success and skunk was the ability to get a little more length in the cast.
Like the wise Mr. Tim Rajeff has opined, distance isn’t important until it is.
Nailed it. I just finished a day fishing streamers that required lots of distance all day long. Practice those double hauls people!
Like an old married couple with the matching shirts, lol.
Do you ever use this line for bass, and if so, how do you rig your tippet?
Thanks for the great tips and info!
Your rod, with a fighting butt - what is it?
Thanks!

Those shirts look like my screensaver from 1995. 😂
Yours were way more pixelated
What are some other floating fly patterns you would suggest for a parabolic line set up?
boobies and FABs are most common. they're very popular in european stillwater fishing.
Dude you need to come out here to nevada and fish pyramid lake for a chance at at 20lb cutthroat in 20mph wind on a ladder
Cool technique. So the total "really, really, long leader" length - including the butt section - appeared to be in the neighborhood of 20'+ ?? Very interesting. Thanks.
Yup. It's absolutely critical.
@@FlyFishFood Thanks guys.
#letcurtisfish😂
Thanks for the breakdown guys!
Cheech-at 3:45 you mentioned the center fly was a "beall bach"? Never heard of such a fly....spelling?
Pretty sure he was referring to a "diawl bach" pattern, classic stillwater fly. Lots of TH-cam tutorials on how to tie it.
@@katherinethompson6421 he did say diawl bach…
You guys should consider taking up fly fishing...just sayin .....
Do you think that one life vest will hold ya Cheech?
