I was about to comment that. It's so true though, the influence they hold.
Whenever something bad happens, blame it on AH.
There IS a precedent for AH deliberately leaving bad smells in Jon's office and waiting for someone who isn't Jon to notice.
Public menace even the landlord has to be informed of their comings and goings 😂
When AH pranks you so hard, you're left paranoid for the rest of your life.
And AH appreciates that they where first suspected for causing a prank.

@@Stevo-4896 the next step is to Prank them with something nice, but suspicious. Like a box of donuts and a vague note "great job" waiting for RT when they come in. No context for 2 weeks, then they get an empty box that says "good luck" written in green/black frosting.

I was wondering why they kept having Jon look and then I remembered that he's not affected by it.
Ironically, that also makes him the worst person to look since he cannot "follow his nose".
That's exactly why I wonder why it was him. Makes him the worst person to look for the source of a smell.
The fact that the smell was the worst in the office of the guy that can't smell and the guy that thinks "fish" and any salad dressing cooked together tastes/smells good is what's really funny.
He can't smell, right? I don't know why that is so can someone tell me?

I feel that. I don’t have a sense of smell either, so I use my associates as seeing smell people all the time

@@connermcneal5356 yeah, I have hyposmia so it comes in and out. Sometimes I might smell peppermint, other times it's just like people surprised I have no reaction to those salts.

At first I was confused about the logic of sending Jon to look for the source, but it makes sense, because it would get worse with proximity, so he'd be the perfect person to remove it.
Except he is the one person who can't tell the smell is getting worse, or more proximate.

In highschool, every time I opened my locker I noticed it smelled really bad. There was nothing in my locker so I knew it wasn't mine. I had my friend come smell it too and she agreed that it smelled bad. The smell eventually grew worse over time until you could smell it in the hallway. So me and my friend went and told the office staff about the smell, and they went and opened up all the lockers near mine and found someones lunch rotting away in their locker for months.

fun fact smell is just tiny particles of the object flying off and entering your nose. that's why smell and taste are linked. also means they had literal sewer gunk entering there body for daaaaays.
