  • Part 6: • Freeway Ricky Explains...
Part 4: • Freeway Ricky on Being...
Part 1: • Freeway Ricky on Predi...
    --------
In this clip, Freeway Ricky speaks about white people fleeing Compton after the Watts Riots in 1965, and he added that he remembers there being a white part of town when his family moved there in 1968. From there, Freeway Ricky state that he doesn't believe that riots will always get the attention of the government, and he added that the real power comes when money is involved. Freeway Ricky then agreed with DJ Vlad on there being no successful financial boycotts in modern times, and he addressed the unsuccessful boycott of Gucci in the Black community.

@__ loaded Wtf are you talking about? Middle class whites are starting to struggle because wealth is calcifying, and they actually got the homestead acts, New Deal, Gi Bill, etc, yet you think Black people suppose to be well off even after the wealth was stolen?

godofthisshit though I believe everythg you said is 10000% true you must admit our glorification of ignorance aids in our lack of progression. (Hip hop- gang/death culture, no sexual discipline- single parents, thug mentality- education isn’t cool)

Vlad is obviously pointing out the current shift we are now witnessing which is clearly a good thing by you refocusing on the negative which we all agree still exists you are stepping on the message... you want to encourage that not discourage by stepping on it

Just think about this black women spend millions on hair that is not their's black men choose to jeopardize their freedom trying to become financially free if these are your actions then it would be hard to progress. Prioritizing things in your life should be the factor for anyone's progress so black family rethink your approach to life understand and teach what is important to survive in this world but the point is to get your life in order and if you don't prioritize things in your life then your life will crumble to the point of no value to anyone or anything so if you want to survive in this world make the necessary changes
