In the original 1990 version: Sometimes, you have projectiles to throw at a boss. The Oak Tree only has a rolling method. The Jack-in-the-Box only has a regular jumping method along with punching method as all 4 springs are available to jump on. As there is no water, one guppy comes at a time as it jumps and also stretches which is the only time you can damage it. The Dragon only sticks his head out which you can damage every time it does that. The Clock Maker only holds out a hammer instead of falling. Jumping on or throwing projectiles at him counts as a damage. Mizrabel teleports between her four different positions as she only has goasts circle around her before spreading them out.
