      Yes the composer was Giuseppe Donizetti Pasha and he came from the napoleonic military band as I know and went to Constantinople to the Ottoman Empire. Somehow it is used in sweden now, I have no Idea why. Late during the Time of Sultan Vahidettin, it was Used again. I have the Ottoman Military Band sheet notes of this march in my archive.

    You used the Grande march de medjidie composed by august ritter von adelburg not Giuseppe donizetti but the Grande march de medjidie in turkish is the Mecidiye marsi but it's not donizetti's composition

      No he didnt, he used Mahmudiye march. I think the court and the Sultan didnt had the time to write one, his reign wasnt a independent one the throne was influenced by the Entente.
