That little moment when Bocchi glances up at the audience for a second during the song is a subtle hint that she has really grown and isn’t as socially withdrawn as she initially was. Also this was a great moment for Kita as well as she is the least experienced member.
Each song talks about each one of them, "Guitar, Lonliness and the Blue Planet" is about Bocchi, "That Band" is about Ryo, "I will Never Forget" is about Nijika and "If I could be a Constellation" about Kita

This anime is so detailed that the volume of the second voice is increased in this version versus the studio version to match with the fact that you can see Ryo singing some parts.
She is guitar hero. One day she'll beat the devil in a guitar battle that will require her to work the ocassional broken string, broken whammy bar, becoming suddenly left handed and doing all of those things to the devil too.
1:03 Always gets me VERY emotional when I see it. They've come so far in so short a time, but Bocchi has spent 3 YEARS, 6 hours a day, practicing for this moment. Where people will like and respect her. And we see it in this one moment as a random girl from her school enthusiastically calls over her friend to go watch Bocchi (and band) play on stage. But my favourite parts are 1:15 (most replayed part, so you all agree :p), 1:58 and 2:05. Kita is sooooo cute!
While that is one way of interpreting the line. It’s also fun to point out that this is Bocchi’s work. You get to know the background of the song through the show and therefore know exactly what she was feeling. An artist doesn’t usually get that opportunity. The work will last long after any accounts of what they felt, but that doesn’t change that they did make each decision deliberately.
What a wonderful way to end off the first season. I know there's a song after this, but this has more "send off" vibes while that one has more "overcome obstacles" vibes. The nostalgic and impactful lyrics, the catchy and soulful melody, combines with the still shots of the everyday places we can never go back to again. The ordinary life and days we'll look back on fondly, knowing they're out of reach forever. And they subtly show everyone being affected by the performance. Manager is looking on with a slight smile, knowing they're gonna crush it. Bocchi dad is crying, seeing his loner kid moving out of her shell and following a dream he once had. An audience member's eyes suddenly lights up as the song hits her hard. Bocchi herself makes a slight but significant perk at the crowd. And of course, Kita's clapping and head bopping and winking bring so much energy to the performance. They've really outdone themselves with this music and animation. That they have all original music and performances and they're freaking fantastic really shows how much love they put into this. They deserve all the accolades they'll get. I hope we can get a season two that has the same amount of love and care.
I stayed up until 3 AM binging the anime in a day bc I got so hooked and I needed to see Bocchi show off her skills in the last episode, I’m so glad I saw this video as well. I needed to listen to the song again, I definitely will never forget.
Bocchi the Rock is now one of my all time favorite anime. The production team was amazing and showed lots of love for this anime. Hoping for a season 2!
Ahhhh Bocchi's experiences as a budding musician and her anxiety of performing on stage are extremely relatable for me. Especially the school festival, cause it reminds me of when my buddies and I performed for our high school talent show. The pressure of your peers in the crowd. That moment where you work up the courage to look up from your guitar and the wood paneled floor to glance at their reactions. I've shed a tear or two watching through this series for sure.
Finally. This was the only song I couldn't find posted anywhere and if I wanted to listen to it, I had to open episode 12 and rewind each time. If I could be a Constellation (the 2nd one they play) is a really good song as well but something about this song makes me want to put it on loop and just listen to it over and over again.
One of the best Cute Girls Doing Cute Things I’ve ever watched, the directing and comedic timing of this show was beyond everything I could ever expect!
I love the band composition. The happy frontman looking directly into the audience, the gloomy introverts on either side and the energetic drummer in the back!
i absolutly love how comfortable bocchi looks and is smiling, ryo's subtle bobbing, kita's eyes floating over to bocchi and nijika just killing it watching everyone.
What i love of this song, is that on technical abilities, Bocchi’s part is one of the more complex and hardest to play between all the kessoku’s songs at date, but you can miss it because of the performance of Kita…and i think is intended.

What I didn’t realize the first time I watched this is when they clip to around the empty school. At first I was like yea it’s just to show Bocchis memories, not only that though it also shows that Bocchi is finally getting popular, getting attention. For the first time. You can see this because Bocchis class still has the butler cafe poster showing that kessoku band, is sold out. You can further confirm it with people that were previously not watching the bands enter the gym just to watch them. It’s a small but such an important detail.
The way they use the lighting on kita's face to show when she's still looking down at her guitar but getting more comfortable looking forward. Would have been hard to show otherwise but the lights do it so well
I just finished Bocchi the Rock today. I'll miss this show. It sure had a lot of heart, and I related a lot as someone with insane social anxiety in middle and high school who's come out of his shell in more recent years. The music was fantastic, and I loved all of the different animation styles and references.

She is guitar hero. One day she'll beat the devil in a guitar battle that will require her to work the ocassional broken string, broken whammy bar, becoming suddenly left handed and doing all of those things to the devil too.
The Devil went down to Japan and challenged Bocchi to a guitar-off. She walked away with *his* soul.
thats amazing detail that they animated the head bop every time even when you see her head on the side
This Show's animation showed the dedication of team behind it. Every Episode i was able to feel the Passion of them

This is literally the comment I want to write but I don't feel like doing it
This is undoubtedly one of the best anime that we had ever gotten in 2022. If Bocchi does not get a second season, I say we should riot.
count me in
ME TOO
the characters movement looks so smooth!
They are 3D models looked to look like 2D in a simple explanation. The work definitely had a lot of passion into it.
nope mot 3d models. Just rotoscoped which is even more impressive@@jericho663
Really hope this show gets the season 2 treatment it deserves. Cannot stress enough, how much we loved this series
I am going to miss Bocchi.
All theses songs give me chills man
“The test asks ‘what was the author feeling here?’
… well how the hell should I know?”
I really feel these lyrics honestly
What the question is really how do you interpret the author interpretation. It’s actually quite simple question, as it has multiple answers
Ryou was right. It is kinda funny seeing Kita sing those type of lyrics.
The moment I saw that title my first thought was Asian Kung Fu Generation.
Best cover ever!
Not sure if you watched the episode, but the ending has Bocchi doing her own cover of Rockn’ Roll Morning Light Falls on You by AKFG!
@@ohyeahcentral Saw it loved it bought the CD that goes with the series, best cover of a AKFG song ever.
It'd be epic if the songs from this anime was used as official Openings and Endings for future animes.
Like wake up girls! Songs
how bout if Kessoku Band's songs were used as the official openings and endings for their own anime?
Hint: they are
I stayed up until 3 AM binging the anime in a day bc I got so hooked and I needed to see Bocchi show off her skills in the last episode, I’m so glad I saw this video as well.
It's called Never Forget by Kessoku Band. I found it on TH-cam music tho. Afaik, the Japanese name is 忘れない
It's the kit-aura 😂
That little head shake. God I love this show so much. Even if I wanted to, I could never fight the smile on my face watching this. Not a chance.
“If I could be a constellation” also gives real feels
I LOVE THEM SO MUCH
This show came out of nowhere and blew my expectations away!
One of the best Cute Girls Doing Cute Things I’ve ever watched, the directing and comedic timing of this show was beyond everything I could ever expect!
The characters, comedy, animation, and even songs of this show are perfect! This show is no doubt a 10/10 imo!
one of my favorite songs atm. i love the vibe it gives
I need like 27 more seasons of this series, animation is god, comedy is god, music is god and bocchi THE GOD
The animation so GOOD and the music just hits DIFFERENT! “I will never forget” this show 🗣️🔥🔥🔥💯
Just finished watching yesterday. Hope a season 2 come. Love Bocchi.
I still can’t believe how good the idea of having this cheerful out going girl sing depressing lyrics. 👏🏽👏🏽
Yestersay saw this in theather, almost cry out of excitement.
No one is gonna talk about 1:04. That animations is so amazing and poetic
i cried reading back the lyrics, oh my god. i dont even know why.
This is in my top 3 fav anime of all time. Love Bocchi!
I love the band composition. The happy frontman looking directly into the audience, the gloomy introverts on either side and the energetic drummer in the back!
I just love how supportive her family is.
i absolutly love how comfortable bocchi looks and is smiling, ryo's subtle bobbing, kita's eyes floating over to bocchi and nijika just killing it watching everyone.
This is my anime of the year
This Anime was rly the greatest suprise of the season
I could see myself pausing the anime to see what fret they are playing at when transcribing the song. Must be amazed at the level of details.
What i love of this song, is that on technical abilities, Bocchi’s part is one of the more complex and hardest to play between all the kessoku’s songs at date, but you can miss it because of the performance of Kita…and i think is intended.
Dont know why this scene right here gives me K-on Vibes like when they finally got to performed together singing fuwa fuwa time!! MY GOD!! BTR and K-on are both such great animes!!
Theres a crossover mashup video of the two songs, they fit very well
Funny how clover works probably threw this into the roster as an afterthought and now it has one of the most dedicated fanbase in the industry XDD
Absolutely awesome direction on this animation.
1:13 Kyunimation
Kita the perfect foil
Having just finished the season, and knowing I'm really late to the hype, I'm still really looking forward to season 2!!!
We will indeed not forget :). Looking forward to s2
that riff on 1:32 was just so perfect
It's the solo, a riff is the guitar part that repeats throughout most of the song
super amazing underrated underappreciated anime. great job bocchi!
The lyrics are amazing
1:16 the way her head move is just adorable
Bocchi was the best thing to end 2022 with. Such a phenomenal anime. Can't wait for season 2.
People clearly don’t know how bands work. They all come together, it’s not carried by any single member. They are all slaying it. Let’s give nijika props as well, drums are pretty hard to master
Can’t wait for season 2 of Bocchi
❤ wish we get the second season as soon as possible
I really miss this anime already. I hope they make a second season
Waiting for season 2 announcement.
The team will have to handle Dress Up Darling season two first
@@shirotakeda8401 It seems your´e one of the team or a insider from clover works?
@@daswerner6299 what gave it away
@@shirotakeda8401 is just a feeling.😉 however. Clever Worms does a really good job with all their animes. I've always had fun with it until now. Greetings from Germany.
00:36 Blink, and you'll miss it; the animation of the subtle movements of the bass player is spot on!
I really enjoyed this & Happy New Years 🥂
