Hello, congratulations on the magnificent photos, I am using this film and I had doubts about the wash process, what was the method you used, thank you very much.
Thanks! I don't do anything different than I have with other films. Either 10 minutes of fresh water running through the tank or "the Ilford Method" which is a series of inversions to conserve water.
I'm back with another comment. I've watched COUNTLESS film reviews of every black and white film I could find and your images and comments are by far the best. EASILY the best. Great information and great images in as clear and enjoyable a review as I could hope for. Thank you. You've helped me in my film choice (a major purchase).
That is so awesome to hear! I truly appreciate your comment. I hope to make more film videos again this summer - bought some new stuff over the winter but didn’t shoot much yet.
Yeah - I've shot a number of rolls of it - some under different names but it is all the same. Not my favorite - kinda of blocky grain and lacking in midtones(at least the way I develop) - but as a budget film it isn't awful.
@@TimFitzwater I looks bad even for a poor man like me. I WILL REFRAIN FROM BUYIN' IT. The only one FOMA I ever had was the 120mm for my Automat K4A (released in 1951 - it belonged to my gradfather). Very easy to be scratched.... too grainy...It is a landmark of the former East Block... Anyways I enjoy your posts. I will for sure need your advice since I am a novice with film photography. The way I switched to film from digital is the colours close to reality... I think. Do you remember our OR WO ? In East Germany as well as for the former East Block it was the... king. Best to you ! Vedran (Croatian name)
@@vedranr.glavina7667 I don't mind the Foma 100 as much - but it still isn't up to Kodak or Ilford standard. I'll use it in vintage box cameras sometimes. I'm not familiar with OR WO. If you are interested follow this channel - th-cam.com/channels/23WxrMGSByLfyHArjCwBBA.html - that is where I intend to post any future photography videos. This channel took off with the cycling stuff so I divided them. I haven't shot much film over the winter but will be getting back into it now that the weather is changing.
@@TimFitzwater I believe it too. I am a big fan of Minoltas. Unfortunately I do not own an SRT101 I only own two stellar XD 11 and one XG 2. I plane to buy another XD 11 / XD 7. Thanx again for supporting film ressurection ! May God Bless You !
These are perfect bro, I've had my eye on this film. You've encouraged me to try color filters more. I recently reviewed Ars Imago 320 on my channel and it's my favorite is pretty perfect also feel free to check it out
Super super SUPERB IMAGES, MAN ! CONGRATS!
Thanks for the video. Im looking forward to get mine Bergger Pancro to try it. Cheers from Norway
I can't wait to shoot more myself. There are certain situations where it will be the perfect emulsion! Cheers!

Great shots and an interesting film.
Great!!!
Thanks!
Superb review with superb photographs of a superb film. You completely won me over.
Thanks! Glad it was helpful. My plan is to get out with another roll when we get the next serious snowfall.

Just stumbled upon that video and I really like the pictures. Great work
Thank you!
This is my favorite film, very flexible
I just ordered more! It’s not the most distinctive but I agree - it is the most flexible.
How about FOMA 400 ? Have u tried it ?

Hallo Tim, just SUBSCRIBED ! THANK YOU !
1965 or 1966 for Minolta SRT101if I correctly remember....
I believe they made it for at least 10 years after too.

Thanks - gotta have that red 25a for skies! I will check it out.
HC-110 is the culprit for the grain. XTOL is better and Ilfotec LC29 for fine grain.
Thanks. I will give something different a go!
@@TimFitzwater If you are so inclined, try Bergger's own developers.
@@GregoryVeizades I didn't even know they made one - I will look into it - thanks!
