@michellefletchwow er2037 wow thts nice to know. Where in Africa you located? I would live to visit Nigeria n ghana but my frens n family say I'm crazy lol. I'm from Jamaica too
The combination of the Congolese and Zimbabwean moves into Jamaican dance style is a beautiful tribute to the collective heritage as the children of Africa
As a Trini, the waistline has memory. She just had me in 3 countries add Trini, 4, all in my kitchen..MOVE OUT DE WAY! CARNIVAL COMING ❤🎉🎉🎉 from dirt to dollar wine!!
The 🇯🇲 Jamaican whine/wine 🇯🇲 is a combination of the Congolese, Zambian, and several other styles because we are a combination of all those awesome whiners. Love Koffi Olomide's music esp the classics... I'm always trying to practice Congolese dances...hmmm😅 anyways beautiful moves sister...🇬🇭. Watching from uk.
@Yaruandromedano1111 they're not fighting each other like you think because you get your info by watching CNN or other media. If you're see what's happening in Niger, Burkina Faso, Mali etc they're fighting the imperialist. The Nation divide by imperialist. One side support and fight for Haiti then the other side doing the master or imperialist job. So When you don't something don't make any stupid comment. You probably still under rules of the imperialist still.
I am South African but I've always noticed that Haitians have similar attributes with the Congolese. I would bet a lot of money in saying if one could look back in history one would probably trace Haitian heritage to central Africa specifically the Congo region.
@tyali84 There's like 20%of Haitians from that region between Congo and Angola area. 19% also from Nigeria area, 11% from Ghana area, 25% from Benin Republic. 5%from Senegal specifically Bambaras tribe, Mandeke etc. Also I saw a few in the list from south east Africa specially Bara tribe from Madagascar. There's also people from Guinea, Cameroon, Sierra Leone ,Togo etc.
Absolutely mesmerizing. I secretly wish I could do this but I'm too embarrassed to try because I already know how ridiculous I would look trying to figure it out.
As Congolese, the dance is not for that song or instrumental beat, but it is actually the way we twist our waist.😊😊u got it right. For some reason, before i even see the Zambian part, my instincts are telling me u are a Zambian
Instead of wasting your time dancing, fight for your country, defend your country. Congo is considered the world's richest country in terms of wealth in natural resources, worth an estimated $24 trillion. Yet congo is the poorest because the world keeping stealing its wealth. So spend your time protecting, working for your country wealth. Spend in education
Wasting time dancing? How do you expect the Congolese people to unify in the first place without dance? Dance brings together communities through so many types of African dance- traditional, religious, ritual, ancestral worship, ceremonial, and much more. During times of oppression, traditional dance means so much more. It is a form of communication, expression and freedom. Dancing is the heartbeat of Africa.
She's not Congolese she's Zambian, and she can do whatever she wants to do with her life. If you don't mind fight for us Sir since you are not wasting your time replying rubbish

Amazing. In Uganda, different tribes have different ways they dance with their waists
She didn't mention any Uganda here, stop that self put put

Same with Nigeria different states and communities have different waist dance too
Actually that second and last dance is more of traditional dance for Acholis and Sogies. The other one is just envious
I dare anyone tell me we're not the same people, just separated by land and water. ❤🖤💚
I can't believe I've watched this for more than 10 times, and the way I envy you😢❤❤❤❤
