Some great information there. In the past i might have given our old Boxer Mysty some left over mince and onions over yorkshire puds without realising those bits of onions in there were not good for her. Our lovely Boxer bitch Mysty lived until 14 years of age, and its been a few year's since we lost her so were now ready to start again with a young pup that we will collect in a few weeks time. So ive been enjoying your channel. Its about 15 years since losing our boxer dog Mysty aged 14. One of Mysty favourite treats were licking out yoghurts pots after we were nearly finished them. But after watching your video ill be much more careful of what treats our new pup gets. Thanks for sharing.
Wonderful info…on top of the fact that all of us Boxer owners/lovers know how notoriously fussy their lil tummies are anyway! LOL…it took me quite a while to work through all the diet combos to find one which didn’t upset my sweet Stella’s digestive system (it turned out to be a fish based diet!). Take care!
Great info. Side note. Buffalo chicken wings. Not good. 1200$ vet trip when my goof went counter surfing. And ate a 12 pc. Oddly tho vet was more worried about the hot sauce than the chicken bones... hmmm
I was the worst boxer owner ever and almost killed my dog slowly and painfully feeding her grapes for dessert. This video saved my dog. I know I deserved to bashed but trust me, I beat myself up hard on that one and haunts me that I almost killed her. Youre thinking that you rescued your dog and want to give it the best life you can and then find out you were torturing and giving it a slow painful death. Im a guy and that still hit me hard with emotions. I was giving her 5 grapes after dinner for 4 days and I was wondering why she was losing weight so fast and throwing up and diarrhea. I know this is an old video but I just thought Id let you know and thank you for your videos on boxers. My boxer thanks you for sure! And on a side note if you do see this, I was wondering if you can make a video on how to socialize and train your dog to not have dog on dog aggression when its 5yrs old? Is this even possible? I want my mom to be able to take her out for walks but she is your typical tiny asian woman and any dog she sees, she wants a piece of. I know she just wants to play but the way she acts its too aggressive/rough. Can I do this on my own with commitment and time or is this something I have to go and get her training with a dog behaviorist like yourselves? Thanks again for your videos and Avery and I are so subscribed and owes you her life! So if ever you come to Canada specifically Alberta, please let me know so I can give you a token of appreciation with dinner or accommodation
You may be interested ito learn that chocolate is toxic to humans. It's all the ratio. My last boxer helped himself to 21/2 lb of dark chocolate and didn't even have the grace to be Sick!
My dog got a solid milk chocolate bunny after Eastwr. He ju!ped up got it and unwrapped it and ate the whole think. He didn't get sick at all! We learned to lock up any chocolate to keep him from getting it.
You lost my interest at chocolate. I had a Boxer for 9 years and tested this old wives tale for myself. Chocolate is NOT poison to Boxers, it's an absolute a myth/superstition! Including dark chocolate which is alleged to be the most poisonous. Society has been brainwashed by supposed experts who know very little, if not absolutely nothing at all. From my personal experimentation and experience, chocolate is perfectly fine for Boxers (but perhaps not all canine breeds since I only own Boxers). In nursing school, I was taught/trained to own my license, as opposed to blindly following orders from any licensed professional. Their license is NOT on the line if I'm wrong by following their ignorant directives. Do your own experimentation. Trust your results. Live long and prosper. Lobbyists who buy these rules have ZERO interest in nothing more than profit. I believe myths like these exist because someone desired tenure.
@bend4236 on the contrary, I learned to conduct my own experimentation and share the results in a way that doesn't revoke my license provided by an outside authority.
This channel deserves more subscribers. Good job.
Thanks so much!!
I just found this channel today and am sooo happy I found it!

My Boxer pup farts a lot. What's that all about? She eats regular Science Diet.
Eats too fast and swollows air, thus farts
That's a boxer thing! Put feeding bowl up higher to swallow less air.
You cannot give avocado to birds either. Nothing with caffeine either. You'll explode their hearts.
Why show dogs with cropped ears ?

You must not have learned the difference between evidence and anecdotal experience in school.
