That looks insane! Plus it eliminates the worry with these alpine coaster, that someone will break in front of you. You really don’t mind waiting longer when your guaranteed a fast ride
This ride looks like heaps of so much fun with massive speeds loads of airtime Gforces even some Heelix Heelix lol, it looked endless on the track, overlooking the spectacular views, I love your laughs Shawn your funny innuendos too. you always seem to be super chilled on these fierce interesting speedy rides. I've never seen you and Charlotte being super excited about a fast crazy ride. I'm definitely Looking forward to your next adventurous vlogs. Thank you for sharing Shawn
Never thought I'd see my tiny hometown parks represented on the channel but here we are. Never knew the alpine coaster was this famous, glad you enjoyed it!
I had a weird deja vu moment watching this so looked on Google maps to see where it is and it's the one we did on a school trip to France and Germany back in 2008 that I've never known the name of! I remember it being great fun but we had to go in pairs and me being the shortest in our year had to go in the front so I wasn't in control of the speed but luckily the girl I was with wanted to go pretty fast. I'm so happy I finally know where we went!
i rode this a while ago because I have family nearby that place. I haven't been on many alpine coasters but this was the best and most insane one i've ever done. the line was not moving and took over 2 hours but it was worth it! I have never heard tpw laugh like this even on ride to hapiness!
Oh man, that was absolutely fantastic! Your laughs Shawn as you whizzed down the mountain were infectious and I found myself laughing with you. I have to do that!!!!
Awww I deffo need to check this out one day this looks amazing! And looks like u and Charlotte really enjoyed I felt like I was on it with you absolutely this is a must for me!!!
I'm exited to see what you thought of Steinwasen park. I've just been there recently during a family vacation and I really enjoyed it! Unfortunately I couldn't persuade anyone to go to the Hasenhorn coaster as well, but someday I'll make it! I loved hearing you laugh and scream on the ride, the joy and fun was really contagious :)
There is an argument in Germany about who has the longest alpine coaster because two alpine coasters are exactly the same size. The 'Hasenhorn Rodelbahn' and the 'Alpine coaster Imst'. Both claim to be the longest, but which one is the best is a better question. You can just make a coaster trip with only alpine coasters and rodelbahn in Germany and Austria, and do more attractions than on a coaster trip. There really are so many to discover.
Love seeing this! I went to Todtnau with my parents and sister on vacation when I was younger. We did the rodelbahn and went to the Steinwasen park. Didn't even know Europa Park existed lol. Probably was too expensive.
Another great vlog Shawn and Charlotte. What a fantastic alpine coaster. One day I too will travel to Germany to ride this phenomenal beast. I will then move on to one the finest theme parks in the world Europa Park. Thanks guys!👍
Cheers for another amazing video, yes seen this rollercoaster before on other enthusiasts channels. Looks epic lol. Also got to say there is loads of space up on that mountain, loads of space for new and future attractions, even more coasters? Going to now check out the other park as that also looks interesting. But yeah cheers for filming POV. 😀👍
It is a brilliant long ride. But I would still prefer the Alpsee-Coaster in Immenstadt as Germanys best. Same length, also spectacular views but the even crazier layout and still no magnetic trim brakes!!!
@@ThemeParkWorldwide Yeah, I know it is even more in the middle of nowhere. Maybe the new SBF-Visa Big Air Coaster at Ravensburger Spieleland is a reason to come to the beautiful Allgäu and Bodensee region (this is a very "interesting" ride). But when it comes to alpine coasters, the real crazy stuff of course happens in Austria. The Wiegand in Imst maybe the longest, but these Brandauers are complete madness. Especially the one in Mieders and the Wally Blitz (a real crazy hidden gem).
Good to see you two getting on this ride. Remember watching David Jellis doing quite a few of these a few years back. Quite spectacular rides all of them. Kind of 'fun fact': The view you have at 1:06 - 1:12 looks almost like one of the Alpine skiing hills in Drammen, Norway. It really comes down steep right behind the houses. Its not that long though.
Looks superb. Just taken a look at the map, it certainly is in the middle of nowhere? Only six hours drive from the in-laws place in the north, so a day trip's out of the question!
This is so cool! I remember sending you guys a dm on Instagram with the suggestion for this alpine coaster. I've been on holiday near todtnau for 19 years and did the coaster multiple times. Seeing your enthousiasm really made my day!
Seinwassen Park is a nice little park, they have Goats too. I actually prefer their alpine coaster to the Hassenhorn Coaster, and they have some cool little rides. It's also free entry if you have the Black Forest Konus Card. Also you get one free go each day on the Hassenhorn Coaster with the Konus Card. Lots of accomodations come with a free Konus card if your staying in the Black Forest area.
Outstanding What a rush Worth every Euro for the views alone and the ski lift and coaster a bonus. I think Switzerland has this type of ride too......?
I was looking for something to help divert our 2022 trip into Black Forest territory for some ‘make your own adventures’ territory and this particular video has ticked all the boxes! It looks fantastic both the ride and views :)
Done this today, had to use the brakes thou, especially the first time as it was starting to get a bit uncomfortable on the bends. Bloody good thou and not bad value for 13 euro each
Absolutely loved this vlog. Your laughs were brilliant while on the coaster. Also shows how much a rip off everything is here in the UK and totally overpriced. Fantastic video guys.
good job on the Todtnau, Germany to ride the world-famous Hasenhorn Rodelbahn Coaster! In this vlog, we share on ride footage from this spectacular 8,858ft (2699m) long Wiegand Alpine Coaster. Along with that we take you along for the chair lift ride to the top of the mountain and take a look at the spectacular views across this stunning part of Germany! keep the good work up both of you on the channel and good luck at the next trip, very big thumbs up to you both.
Pretty sure they are equally famous. Hasenhorn coaster is a bit oder though. I prefered the Alpsee coaster because of the even prettier landscape imo. Both are really great though
Wish I'd known before that this coaster was there, so close to EP! Looks amazing 👏🏻 The Black Forest is one of the most beautiful places in the world. Truly! I love it 😁 Lake Titisee is stunning (but a little touristy now, unfortunately). Been there numerous times, and it's very close to this place.
You need to get to Naturlandia resort near Sant Julià de Lòria, Andorra next summer Shawn and review that world record holder alpine coaster, I'm very interested to hear your review.
We're heading to Phantasialand for the first time in April and PortAventura in August. You mentioned card payments, is it more beneficial to get converted cash before we go or is Visa card a cheaper option?
I did this coaster a few years ago. Halfway down, I was furious because the idiot guy in front of me had actually STOPPED his car, so I had to stop too and was shouting at him to get going! Was terrified that another one would come hurtling round the corner straight into the back of me! It is a great trip, isn't it - stupendous views and did you get your souvenir photo out of the machine at the end?
You know it’s a good ride when Shawn’s hair is sticking straight up after
That’s so true!
That looks absolutely amazing, and that alone is worth a trip to Germany.
It was spectacular
Yes absolutely i was there yesterday and we waited almost two hours.
That looks insane! Plus it eliminates the worry with these alpine coaster, that someone will break in front of you. You really don’t mind waiting longer when your guaranteed a fast ride
It was amazing! Definitely!
we went for my birthday a few years ago and the bottom of the lift was at about 4000/5000 ft up according to our car it was awesome
I can’t stop watching these videos it actually fills like I’m on the roller coaster 🎢
I love these things, this looks the best I’ve ever seen, it’s on our list for next year for sure.
This was incredible and only an hour from Europa!
@@ThemeParkWorldwide And only € 10 , that's insane $11 or $12 dollars, Germany has just shot to the top of my European travel plans

Nice one did it this year on me own raodtrip. About the wait time i waited 45 minutes at the top it does get busy

This one is amazing but my best alpine coaster is in Fort Fun in Germany that one is insane.

Brilliant coaster you both should of had a couple more goes as it was so cheap lol
We had such a good time!
In Devon there's a bobsleigh alpine at woodland theme park
There is indeed
Gronalund confirmed they are building a jumanji ride, so guess Merlin got the sponsership and chessington wing coaster will also be jumanji themed

Not something you want to hear from a englishman @welovegermany technology and alpine coasters lol great pov shawn
WOW.
I hate to think how much a UK equivalent would cost
We're heading to Phantasialand for the first time in April and PortAventura in August. You mentioned card payments, is it more beneficial to get converted cash before we go or is Visa card a cheaper option?
Have a great time! It’s entirely up to you however we mostly use card payments abroad now as there’s no fees with some banks!
I think you said is was over 8800ft on Social Media, that's longer than Steel Dragon 2000 (the longest roller coaster in the world)
It is indeed! Amazing length to this!
