Looks like Greninja was doing fine without ask he managed to unlock a next level water shuriken during ash's absent he's been getting stronger and he's incredibly strong and fast
Ashes greninja other than pikachu has to be one of his best friends. He has bonds with all of his Pokémon but his bond with greninja was so strong greninja literally transformed. At the end the way they hugged goodbye I literally almost cried. Like when greninja got hit ash felt his pain LITERALLY. If that isn’t a true friendship and bond I don’t know what is
I'll never understand why they didn't let Ash win in the kalos region and instead restarted his journey in alola where i stopped half way through but it had the pefect set up which was mega evolution it was such a slap in the face to go from that then to just big final moves.
But the saddest part is this concept that bond evolution has been removed forever from the anime coz they thought this was way stronger for ash as he already has a really strong team currently
Not true they haven’t removed it at all it’s just got hey never bothered to show it and them removing ash Greninja scenes was weird even though in the manga it’s clearly there
