The Fed was never going to raise rates just "higher for longer" as usual. The index gyrations are pure manipulations and little to do with external factors. The sudden drop took herd that had been buying like crazy in and the equally sudden move up has squeezed the shorts. Expect another sudden move down to take out the "buy the dippers" who are now piling in.
How did you increase Amazon intrinsic value that much ($233)? It was around $180 in your last video

Any views on whether Apple or Amazon is a better buy right now? Both stock price is around $180+ right now. PE ratio for Amazon is much higher at 53 whilst Apple is 27. In other words, Amazon needs to double its earnings in order to achieve a similar forward PE of 27. Appreciate if you could do a video on this and why your views that Amazon is undervalued given the high PE ratio. I hope to buy Amazon but trying to find a good entry point. Should I change my current Apple holdings to Amazon given that they are around the same price? Thanks

Dont fight the Fed!! Comb up TLT and BITO call options after Fed meeting announcement and the return is terrific.
The current market/economy is unnecessarily tougher for boomers/senior citizens, I’m used to just buying and holding assets which doesn’t seem applicable to the current rollercoaster market plus inflation is catching up with my portfolio. I’m really worried about survival after retirement.

I don't buy companies with weak economic moats and no consistent profits.
Exactly, just look at SOFI’s competition, they have no moat. No one I know uses them either

Recently bought some recommended stocks and now they are just penny stocks. There seems to be more negative portfolios in the last 3rd half of 2023 with markets tumbling, soaring inflation, and banks going out of business. My concern is how can the rapid interest-rate hike be of favor to a value investor, or is it better avoiding stocks for a while?
