      Thanks man I truly appreciate it! I’m going to make another video soon using a higher up vehicle. That Ranger was Low to the ground so I want people to see a full size or half ton being loaded and how steep the incline is.

    I have this exact ramp bought it about a year ago I put a 450 Kodiak Yamaha in the back of a full size Toyota Tundra. The truck sits higher than the one in this video and it is a little steeper so I wish the ramps were maybe 6 in or even a foot longer but I have no problem with it. I put my vehicle in 4-wheel drive and I ease it up just like this gentleman dead I've never had an issue the safety chains work every time they're perfect no slipping at all and I loved it best ramp for the money and I like the fact that it's a trifold and not to separate ramps. I completely agree with your assessment this is a great ramp a little longer would be nice but I've made it work

    $139.99 now at Harbor Freight. Needing 2 pick up a riding mower. I have wood planks, but figured they would fall when i unload. So thought about renting a uhaul. But i look on the Harbor Freight site. Never bn 2 HF b4, but heard sumwhere that they sell ramps. Got on here 2 c if i could b convinced 2 buy this 1--couldn't c well enough on their picture how it hooks AND stays on the truck.

      I wouldn’t advise these now. They work well for a few uses but I think tractor supply sells better ones for the length of them so the slop is not as drastic.

    Had a set of these and used them for several years loading into the back of a 4x4 Dodge Ram 2500. They are a bit steep and I had to kneel on the seat and lean over the handle bars to shift the weight forward, but they worked great. I broke them loading a trencher on my trailer. Probably will replace them with the Cabela's Yutrax extra long trifold ramps.

    • @ghilliemanreviews
      @ghilliemanreviews  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes not a bad idea. They are very steep. Better for smaller pickups. Mine actually broke themselves after I made the 2nd video on them after a year. I think they are still great because I left mine out in the weather and they took some abuse from me lol. I used them for anything and everything and easily exceeded the weight limit.

      I have a non-lifted F-150 and these ramps are not long enough to "safely" drive my quad up. I've done it once or twice but it's super sketchy. I've been putting regular car ramps under the bottoms (the kind you use for oil changes, etc) to get some extra length which has worked well, but I really just wish I got longer ramps to begin with.

    • @ghilliemanreviews
      @ghilliemanreviews  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I have these ramps and I use them on a low flatbed trailer. I do chain them but I also rigged a bolting system to them as well and bolt them to the trailer. I have had an accident in the past with a different set of single ramps where the machine fell off with me on it. Not fun!!! So I never trust ramps unless they are secured by a chain AND a bolt.

    • @ghilliemanreviews
      @ghilliemanreviews  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just foe warning these are great ramps for a while but mine have bit the dust temporarily! The welding for the ledges you sit on the bed have come apart. The rest of the ramps have held up great. But I need to repair them

    • @ghilliemanreviews
      @ghilliemanreviews  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Justin Kirk I would not suggest using these ramps for a mower unless you have a hill to backup too and use them like a bridge. You will bottom out with these on flat ground. I have used these for a long time now and still love them but I’m going to be investing in a trailer soon for hauling my mower and four wheeler

    I had a very bad experience with this ramp, two of the latches that go against the tailgate broke after 3 uses, I used the ramp for a honda rancher 350, weighs about 500 lbs, maybe my ramp was defective or something??

      Thanks, yeah I was lucky, the time they broke, I was loading the atv on to a trailer that wasn't too high, if it would of been on to the truck, it would be a whole different story, when it broke, the two rear tires fell to the ground, but like I said, it was on a trailer so I was able to load it by accelerating, but it was a scare...thanks

    Good review, but i have to say when it comes to a ramp for my ATV into my 8' Silverado bed, the last thing on y mind is only spending $100.00, I'll spend $500.00 for the best " safest " ramp on the market. How much is my body worth.

    • @ghilliemanreviews

      Caesar Bedoya agreed. When I had my ranger that’s in this video it was amazing. I have an f150 now and they still get the job done but make it a little uneasy. Your confidence is everything with something like this. These are great ramps but longer ones win for taller trucks

  • @robira1313

    • @ghilliemanreviews
      @ghilliemanreviews  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Rob I that would be my only complaint. If it was longer it’d be amazing! After owning it now for a year and a some change, I wouldn’t recommend it for a scooter or street bike. For dirt bikes and four wheelers it’s perfect.

    Will these work for zero turn?

    • @ghilliemanreviews
      @ghilliemanreviews  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not the best unless your truck is low to the ground. If you have a higher truck, the deck will scrub the ramps. Or if you back to a hill and use the ramps as a small incline or bridge then it's fine.

      For a zero turn I’d suggest finding a hill and it’d need to be of course a mower than can fit in your bed. But using a hill to help cut down the angle it’ll work perfectly. I used it all the time but I had a ditch area I could pull my truck(s) and use the ramp as a ramp or bridge.
