I've loved Mission: Impossible from the time when as a young kid in the early 1970's I was just old enough I can remember watching a few of the last season episodes first run and then later seeing all of them in reruns, then the reboot in the late 1980's and the Tom Cruise movies--I even have a CD with much of the TV soundtrack music and an interview with Peter Graves but I never knew much about the soundtrack until now! I did know it was done by Lalo Shifrin but didn't know much about him and only recently learned he also did the first season music for Starsky & Hutch, so distinctly different from the discofied stuff in the later seasons. I especially loved learning the bit about the Morse Code "M I", I'm never going to hear those notes the same way again! Thanks for this great video, you just got a new subscriber!

Want he in Airplane!
Your relative obscurity never ceases to confound me
