Good approach to EBM. From young doctor's perspective, I observed doctors relying to heavily on EBM, misunderstooding it oftenly, sometimes expecting to find answer to clinical problems that haven't been clinically triled yet. On the other hand I have met surgeons wanting badly to perform a medical procedure that was vaguely described somewhere but there was no evidence if this procedure was helpful to the patient.
You're one of my favorite TH-camrs, you make great points, you're super knowledgeable, and showcase your sense of humor. Your analysis of medical studies and reaction vids are outstanding!!! Keep it up!
Hey there I have a question, what is an optimal vitamin D level? Seems to be a lot of discussion about that as well. The country I’m from has 50mmol/L as the normal limit. But I heared it should be anywhere 2x higher than that? I’m of north african descent btw.
I agree, and I too get caught up in research evidence. I think balance is key, but it’s hard to define where that balance is-so just life on your judgment?
Really love ur videos only problem ur voice is so soothing u put me to sleep sometimes wen im really tired frm work(crazy casualty officer), not a bad thing i jus hv to listen to it again. U would hv been a great lecturer wen i qualified 14yrs ago, i would be at ur class rite in the front. Wish more ppl made med studies so interesting😂😂
Hi, enjoyed your video, but I'd like to clarify that veganism isn't merely a diet; it goes beyond that. What you're referring to as a diet is more accurately described as vegetarianism or, in contemporary terms, a plant-based diet.
For “healthy” individuals taking one supplement (B12) is far better than the increase of morbidity and mortality from adding animal products to ones diet (even nonSAD). One little supp > suffering of sentient beings.
This video was great!! If you have more stories or more medical advice to give/debunk, you should make it a series!!!

Correction, you're not brown color, rather more of beige or yellowish.

Not as inflammatory as your bowel
Dr. Jubbal, could you make a “Why I didn’t do osteopathic medicine” video?
Osteopathic medicine is pseudoscience. Thats the reason. No need for a video.
12:38 well, i am a huge Dr J fanboy.
Just commenting for the algorithm 🖤🤎

I was plant based. Never vegan
Great, another ex-doctor creating mistrust among patients.
