Because of this man right here I ended up building a rudimentary x-fader. 21yrs ago. That worked 15% of the time. Only ammunition I had... U & Hands Up! ... ended up residency for many many moons thanx to a $10 homemade xfader + 2x Marantz turntables + this absolute master of electronics.
Back in the day there were monsters like yogi,shokk,alphazone,dave joy,dumonde and of course scot project and although shokk are still around theyve changed there style but only one is true to his passion the legend that is scot project
Frank is a total kickass bloke and easily the best set of the whole event. Who cares if he was playing classics or not, he was f*cking insane (when he dropped the prodigy 🙃☺️) and if there had been a roof, he would of not just blown it off, he would of totally destroyed it and sent it into space. @@MrJohnno89 I wish defo a bit of a resurgence lately, seems to be called reverse bass or hard style these days. We even seem to be getting a bit of the old tidy sound coming through on some UK labels as well. I think the way Scot project tunes still sound up to date today shows how way ahead he was as a producer. No one does a build like him. So intricate the snare rolls and drum fills.
Man, set you free into hands up used to be a classic transition. He's played some right tunes in this set. Rare to hear Yoji these days in these types of events. Good to have a change of scenery once in a while!
