I do realise that this video was from a month ago, so I don’t know if you’ll still read any comments made. I wanted to tell you how much I appreciated your idea of a vintage typewriter. I’ve just bought a vintage portable typewriter and I’m so pleased to put it in my bookcase, obviously full of books and other knickknacks 😊. Thank you ! Greeting from Roma (Italy)
Card files are great for “filing” yarn, and art supplies like brushes, calligraphy pens and ink. Samples, soaps, room scents, Recipes and visual references…
Heh, I guess that the style that I’ve had for the past 35 years is “medium Academia”, though I always called it “eclectic British Aesthetic movement” (aka “Wm Morris style”). Antiques mixed with some Scandinavian modern , 4,000+ books going back to the mid 1600’s, in a hundred year old Craftsman, and yes, I’m a graduate school professor.
I'll be having this in my living room /kitchen, however I'm painting the skirting boards and door frames black to work as framing around my cupboard doors and then art canvases of different colours
Ooo, I love this style! I'd love to have my office feel this way.

Great ideas! I would also suggest ... jewelry, pet treats, stamps (art supplies or postage), buttons ...

I like having books to read and accessories that are used. Not just put on shelves for decor I put chachkies for decor.

I'll be leaving the rest of my walls white. In my bedroom however, I'm painting it in a dark green, for sleeping
The library cabinets are great for crafts, small items for your desk, socks, underwear, scarves, etc
Thank you for this information video.... Your light academia style beginning banner is missing in this video.
