Omg I have loved Kenna I had no idea you knew each other that's great! When I first saw that tattoo I was like wtf she stole Kenna's tattoo haha
in the future (hopefully) I would like a small, thin, cursive L with two small dashes beneath them. the L will represent my youngest brother Levi and the two small dashes are actually an M in Morse code to represent my younger brother Morrissey.
your tattoo will lighten up as it continues to heal and has ink fallout! they look great!

Location definitely plays a factor in the pain. Most of mine didn't hurt, but I got one on the side of my foot touched up and holy hell. Touch ups hurt way more than the first time. I have a matching one with my best friend as well.
I was hoping you would make a video like this. I love all of your tattoos and their meanings. I currently have three but none of the are bookish. I am hoping to get a bookish one soon!

Bepanthen cream is what I use after I get a tattoo and stops the tattoo from becoming too itchy when it is healing.

My only tattoo so far is book related- it's across my left ribcage in my own handwriting and says "enchanted and repelled". It's part of a larger Great Gatsby quote: "I was within and without. simultaneously enchanted and repelled by the inexhaustible variety of life". It honestly didn't hurt that bad - I'm the same as you in that I actually liked the pain haha. And I haven't regretted it for a day and it's been almost 9 months now! :)

I have 5 tattoos. I have a little bumble bee on my hip, part of the footprints poem on the side of my foot, a framed moon and it's reflection in the ocean on my thigh, a quote with a carnation and four stars on my side, and a quote from the children's book I'll Love You Forever on my shoulder that goes along with my mom's tattoo. I definitely want more in the future, including book related ones. I'd love to get a tattoo that incorporates a lot of book spines so that through the years I can add the titles of books I fall in love with.

Iiiii have a raven too! He's on my forearm. Twofer: he symbolizes all my fond memories of birdwatching as a kid and my love of Edgar Allen Poe & literature in general 😊
I love your biggest tattoo! I plan on a bookish tattoo, but it will be little. I'm not sure what to get just yet. I'm currently planning my first tattoo, which will be a Leo constellation. I might get Orion or the moon later.

I have a crescent faced moon on my shoulder and I love it , it means so much to me! I've done it this summer, it was a little bit painful near the bone but definitely worth it. Also it didn't take longer than 15 minutes! :) I really like your tatoos. Generally I don't like thigh tatoos but this is so original and unique!

Your tattoos are gorgeous! I have two, an amaryllis on my shoulder and a quote from Anne of Green Gables on my ribs (it's my favourite book), "Isn't it nice to think that tomorrow is a new day with no mistakes in it yet...". I will say that the ribs was way more painful than the shoulder, my artist said it is related with how much fat there is in the area/ how close to the bone it is.

Those are awesome tattoos! I have two, one on my right arm and an entire back piece, both of which are religious ones. Obviously you love reading, so how many books do you have? I know someone who has over a thousand.

I really hate it when people are like - you are going to regret it later, because it's implying that they know you more than you know yourself. I've had mine for 15 years now, and I don't regret them. Like I said I wish I could get more . :)
The pain is kind of relaxing in a way :) I like you comment about people thinking they know you more than you know yourself. And also, it's not their body so why does it matter? haha

I have 3 tattoos. They are super addicting! I have Believe on my wrist, a rose on my left ankle and "Once upon a time..." on my right foot. Let me just tell you, the top of the foot hurts... a lot. I didn't move or flinch or say anything while it was being done because I didn't want it all fucked up. But I was sweating lol

cool tattoos, you should check out my tattoo artist. he's name is Wayne Fredrickson and works in yucaipa. He's a strict vegan, everything he uses is 100%vegan and the shop is so freaking sanitary. He's so well knowledge In his field, you can tell he loves what he does.

Liquid bandage?? My tattoo artist only sanitizes it and never covers mine. Just gotta keep it clean, slightly moist and let it breathe. I have a bunch, 2 are Watchmen and 1 is HP. My question is how much did they cost? I hate how expensive they can be.

Why did you get the Raven Cycle tattoo before the last book came out????! You might not have liked the book and you would be left with a tattoo. (not criticising - i'm gonna get a bookish tattoo as well)

I LOVEEEEE your thigh tattooooo. I really want a thigh one as well but I have a phobia of needles and blood and a very low pain tolerance. Would you recommend getting a tattoo there if you're afraid of pain? I really want one and a little pain would be okaty (I had a nose ring and even though it hurt I was able to bear it).
If you have low pain tolerance get one on your leg calf, or bicep. It's not a huge amount of pain, more like a small amount of pain for a long period of time. Also, a small one would be like 20 minutes :)
+wallflowerstories I have a moon on my ankle. Took 5 minutes and didn't hurt that bad. I thought I would die but it wasn't as bad to get tattooed! I think that if you want a tattoo try a small one! Only 5-10 minutes is over so fast! :)

+wallflowerstories Thank you!! I think the thigh is one of the least painful places, like I said the Raven didn't hurt. The Stag hurt, but I think that was because I was swollen. So it will depend on what you're getting. I would say go for it. I think you'll appreciate it so much more knowing got through one of your phobias. Plus I think the pain of a tattoo is half the fun.
