I was fooled by watching Fredo play outdoors. Him hooping inside on an actual wood floor is a COMPLETELY different vibe. He can really hoop!

I feel for fredo man, that injury reminded me of the multiple traumas my ankles (right one especially) have suffered 😢😢 almost had to click of the whole vid
Nbs ankle rolls are caused by the SHOES. If ur playing on a 1/2 - 1" sole like most hoop shoes have all you have to do is land on the outside wall of your shoe and the SHOE will roll your foot
imagine if you were barefoot, it would be completely impossible to roll your ankle. It doesn't matter where you land your foot isn't going to roll.
There's something called "barefoot shoes" you can buy, that's what I hoop in. There's a bunch of brands you can lookup (so you know i'm not just trying to advertise for some brand lol). It's basically impossible to roll your ankle in them

@@dmvisaac Idk because the ones I have don't have ankle support, I use the Xero Prios and the Splay Freestyles. I'm not sure if one exists with ankle support but if they would I think Vivo Barefoot would be the most likely, they have tons of different styles
@@ImDrimoz Tbh idc what they teach you in that school because I know it's true from experience. You just gotta try it. I rolled my ankles so many times playing basketball my whole life wearing normal shoes and have never once come even remotely close to even KIND OF rolling mine in barefoot shoes.
Just go stomp your bare foot on the ground on the side of the foot and see if you could ever get them to start to roll, it's literally not possible. THEN try it with shoes on and you'll see how easily they roll.
The first group that came through set that standard HIGH, but I also think these 3 players here are more of a potential thing. DP with a certified trainer could turn him into a demon, Fredo is crafty and I think improvements to his bag is gonna help him get crazy buckets ( he needs workout with jlew frfr), chayce just needs to get in his element. He could def be a good combo guard especially if he had somebody helping him develop. Banger vid frfr

Friga, you need to take Fredo to urgent care and get Xrays or maybe an MRI! For real. I did that to my ankle and tried to thug it out.....My ligaments ended up healing messed up and I could never hoop (or jump or run) the same again. 15 years later and it still hurts most days. It's not worth risking long term injury. Seriously, take care of your talent, you don't want to be liable legally either. Above all, be the Father figure in the house! Prays up for Fredo to heal up tho regardless!

Omg I think I’m in the same scenario. went to urgent care and all they did was an X-ray and confirmed my bone wasn’t broke. But I told the nurse my symptoms and she said probably had ligament or cartilage dmg and I needed to go to a hospital for MRI , but no health insurance or that type of bread😔

Ankle injuries can cause some hoopers PTSD
Ankle rolls are caused by the SHOES! I know exactly what you mean by the PTSD bc i used to play scared always worrying about a roll. If you get "barefoot shoes" it fixes the problem. Nbs go try to land on your foot while barefoot in a way that would make it roll it's not even possible. The tall platform on hoop shoes makes it possible
