1988 got retired then replaced by the f18A Hornet mc Donnell Douglas ! I pulled out after my service with RAAF was based @ Williamtown nsw under big Jim Flemming a friend of my father's regular Aircraft was the Mirage 3 serial A3-17 1986-1988

Mirage IIIE/O is just a gorgeous delta. IMHO the most beautiful. Honourable mentions to the Fairey Delta and B-58 & SR-71 & Concord.
