    The heavy breathing behind the camera is quite a bit off putting.

      Thanks for your feedback! It was made on a whim and we were new to making videos. We now have the appropriate equipment to use when making new videos. Unfortunately, just using an iphone with no connected microphone, the breathing was picked up better because it was close to the phone. :🙂

      @@DoniaDesautels You bet we were! HAHAHA. It was our first video and no microphones. The silly iphone picked up the breathing better than the instructor. Still great content though 🙂

    I had to turn down the volume all the way on the video and put the subtitles on so I could watch the video. The heavy breathing was very distracting and uncomfortable but I did learn something new and thank you 😊

    I had to learn this for my work place, but as a hotel guest I hate triple sheeting, the first night you sleep in the bed it looks awful the next day. Why the big hotels do this I have no idea it’s so tacky and unprofessional.

    • @hospitalityinternational4595
      @hospitalityinternational4595 3 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Karen, Thanks for your comment. Studies show that guests have a better impression of the guest room when triple sheeting is done. It also shows the cleanliness of the linen, reassuring the guest of a clean bed. Everyone has their own tastes, but I personally prefer this over those old multicolored bedspreads. :-)

      @@hospitalityinternational4595 the guests at the resort where I work on the whole prefer to see a nice colourful doona cover or a nice comforter. White sheets, white pillowcases etc etc give it the hospital feel

      @@karenbailey668 I don't think they wash the comforter or doona cover every time they change the bed so it is gross to see a comforter in a hotel room. Who knows what disgusting things could have been done on the top of the bed. Same with sofa's and chairs. I would prefer to see leather or vinyl. At least those can be wiped down.

    Holy cow! Can’t watch!! I’m at a minute and a half and the breathing - ridiculous. She’s talking about how bedspreads are just not up to today’s standard, like everything has to be perfect, and then the most noticeable, incredibly distracting thing in the video is a person snuffling and heavy breathing loudly over the audio- sorry, if she’s purporting to be the arbiter of what’s *professional*, well, *this* particular version isn’t the thing I’m looking for. I’ll go find something that seems more generally in tune with *my* idea of professional standards.

  • @oseasviewer7108
    @oseasviewer7108 ปีที่แล้ว

    If room attendants worked at the pace this video is demonstrating rooms would never get done - so inefficient - there is a better technique - linen delivered by the laundry service folds each sheet in away to aid rapid bed making where 2 sheets can be laid on the bed almost simultaneously - all folding occurs toward the end of the bed making to reduce the time taken and kilometres tracked around the bed - think 20 rooms a day and then some

  • @andielewis7243

    Sorry....I really tried to watch this video but the person behind the camera was breathing so hard it was almost drowning you out. Sounded like they were getting excited or about to have a stroke! Had to move on. Oh one more thing...that little scarf is just useless and really doesn't add that touch of class. It actually says, we're too cheap to invest in a full cover. Either put a nice blanket or duvet on instead. Sometimes people want a blanket even in the summertime.
