I really enjoyed my stay in Nishinomiya. Nice city. Good to see other vids out there on the city. My wife and I found the Baby Room in Nishinomiya Gardens to be the bomb, as far as baby rooms go. That level of consideration for parents is outstanding.
People often ask me why there is so much nice stuff in Japan. Like you said, Kevin, in another country the carpet would get covered in shit.. so they dont have it. In Japan it will be kept clean and people will try not to dirty it.. I think Japanese people recognize that if they look after the places to go that they will have nice places to go! (Also goes for litter and graffiti too.)
more and more malls in canada are being carpeted now... i've never been to ottawa but there are few i can think of in the gta that have it... vaughan mills outlet mall for one...
Lol wow soo clean and how are they not bankrupt DX over in america if a mall was that empty we'd probably be shopping at walmart lol. Oh well happy holiday to all and have a Great New Years.
Wow, its surprisingly similar to our upscale malls. Good tip on the supermarket. Are those usually exclusive to malls or do they have stand alone shops as well?
I watched your video on my new 30 inch monitor full screen and I just calculated that your videos would be 8.54 times better if you used a tripod. Can I mail you one as my holiday gift to you?
@McNeill007 I went there last Christmas, and I would definitely recommend it! The only thing I didn't like was Japanese food on the whole, but that's just my personal taste.
is that nishinomiya as in the suberb of kobe. I live in nishinomiya but dont recognise that mall. must be new. I left for my book tour in north america two years ago. and by the way, its not shishi, is japan. aesthetics in japan are refined, and perhaps youre just not accustomed to that.
"Back in Canada or America" Where is this guy from, New Brunswick? lol we have a lot of nicer places than this in the Toronto area thats not even considered upscale alone.

Incredible! So clean. Do people never get muddy shoes over there?? In the UK it would look so dirty! Not only with mud...
I know what you mean, in my local mall they just redid a whole portion and put in some carpets, and within a month they were dirty/a little destroyed.
The mall near me was recently renovated and it is totally carpeted.
so true though isn't it?! I always find it easiest to Xmas shop for myself ;)
beautiful mall.
The carpet is trippy.
wow, that is really cool . Yeah here in hali town, the floors would be soaked in tim's.
Helsinki bakery?! :D
Oh man I'd love to go there!
you are soo right about the malls in America/Canada. I dont even know how that would last.. haha

One of the malls by me in Washington DC area, is carpeted, and another has comfortable couches in it.
Going to visit my family in Japan on friday
