I am curious what SG1 take on multi-time zone away games are impacting CFB, especially Big Ten. Travel, long travel, for business is impactful on performance and I would think especially so for young men. Might be too early, but certainly worth tracking-UW, USC, Michigan. A lot of schools will now be traveling 3, 4, 5 hours by plane for an away game. Penn St-upset alert, LA is a fun city, probably the first time for some of these student athletes. BSU to Hawaii-would be a huge upset, but Hawaii isn’t Idaho anymore. What’s it like to play football with a sunburn? Doesn’t sound fun.

The way I’m hearing SEC Homers the greatest upset of the 2024 Season was that weak Oregon defeat of Idaho or that unimpressive BYU win over KSU by over 20-it was at home. Now you want a big game-that Georgia loss to an SEC was impressive-Alabama is in the SEC, WOW!!!, was held to 41 points, WOW!!!, kept under 600 yards, WOW!!!, and only gave up four turnovers. This earned them a 5 ranking. Reward good losses like this with Top 5 rankings, bad wins-not so much. Worst loss was NIU defeating ND, Vandy is a lowly SEC team full of young men that worked hard to defeat Alabama and they did! Play better Alabama.
Surprised you didn’t put Oregon Ohio State. Ohio State has been as high as a 4.5 point favorite on a lot of sites
On ESPN it’s 3 bud, and an upset is 4 or over for sg1

My top upset picks are UGA and Texas. They play each other next week, so they may get caught looking ahead.

Every time they play a little team, they are on upset alert. This is because they play down to their competition.
Don't underestimate Texas defense.
I think my Texas Longhorns beats the Oklahoma Sooners in Dallas convincingly and plus Oklahoma’s defense is good but not as good as you think. Also if Quinn Ewers plays the game may not be close at all.
I see no drop off when Arch is playing......the offense is just as potent.
No Arch definitely doesn't read the field quite as well. He's just an amazing athlete, but the Quinn lead offense is noticeably different imo. Not huge but it definitely feels like Arch will be at or above his level next season. I'm glad he got this crucial time to start and he has the potential to be one the best QBs at Texas ever!
Both Quinn and Arch have the ability to read the field very well. So the coordinator has everything at his disposal. That is a luxury not to many teams have.
@@jgz6989 oh no doubt he is still elite, but before the injury Quinn was the Heisman Front Runner for a reason. I'm not saying it dramatically improves our team but it's definitely more organized with Quinn. Arch was excellent and will continue to be excellent.
I think, if UT likes a game at all this season, it will ne to a team they should not lose to and that would be Oklahoma!! I hope not, I'd love it if Texas beat OK 77-0!!!

South Carolina will keep it within 2 tds vs bama and if the defense continues to play like they have played the last 1.5 game alabama gets upset 2 weeks in a row

Preseason I thought TN would take a big dump and lose to Florida, now that they lost to Arkansas they probably beat Florida
Texas is looking forward to Georgia, they the players are not worried about Oklahoma. They believe it will be an easy game. Save their strength for Georgia.
